I've set up e-mail with my own domain through Google Apps and recently encountered an issue in which e-mails I received on my laptop didn't show up on my desktop when I returned home after a few weeks (using Windows Live Mail on both computers) and I'm guessing it's a sync problem. I'm unable to figure out if it's possible to fix this issue through the clusterfuck of information that is Google's support section.
Can you help?

I think I found a solution, finally.
To anyone else having the same problem, in Windows Live Mail, edit the username used to log onto your mail server to "recent:user@domain.com"
