I'm fairly sure it sends the MD5 hashes (bla bla bla md5 is not security) so that shouldn't be a problem.
Maybe we should check the source - oh wait.

It your password contains unicode characters and he encodes them as ISO-8859-1 instead of UTF8 you might have a problem.
good idea
Edited:
GREAT CODING GEEL9
Edited:
verified passwords are encoded as utf-8
Why the hell is he trimming them?![]()
because nobody's password starts or ends with whitespace, of course!
Well done on getting the joke
Yes, great coding.
hu?
![]()
Oh dear...
All that's necessary.Code:NSString *passwordMD5 = [[self.passwordTextBox text] md5];
You're right, he's missing another toString()
I made the last edit on my pc.
The tostring() is because getText doesn't return a string.
don't know what this is but GOOD GOD GEEL GET IT TOGETHER
these
letters
are all wrong
it should say other things
Why in fucks name would getText() not return a string? I believe you, but the android devs must have been smoking some intense shit for getText() not to return a string.
I would be enjoying this, had I actually read my android book I bought months ago....
It returns an Editable.
ok well how about not Edit-ing out spaces from passwords
Quotes do not work
This app might break until geel updates to the new API changes, sorry.
Whilst I'm writing the documentation I'm changing things to make the API as consistent as possible.
Would you mind if I used that style?
Style?
App seems to crash on picture heavy threads, is this just me?
The app uses a good bit of memory. You're best off with a phone with 1GB RAM or more (if there is such a thing right now)
My Optimus One has 512MB (448 useable) and it crashes only when i'm on a page with a shitload of pictures, though LMAO pics usually works fine.
It's Overv's style.
Just donated, again. Any news on the auto correct fix not working for SwiftX
No prob on my mini pro
Just for the record, Overv is the one that wrote the code for logging in.

Gotta wait two more years to understand Java (well, I understand the structure now)
I posted this in the other thread but having the back button open the the user dialog on the main screen is redundant and unintuitive. Every Android app I've ever used except this one exits to the homescreen if you press back in the first window. You already have the button up in the corner to do this. Not trying to be a pain but I can't imagine this is a terribly difficult change.
Sub sections aren't showing up for me.
Using the app right now, feels pretty nice, much easier than using the web browser.
Might donate cause you made me feel bad by making me confess I'm heartless.
Exactly, that's what the menu buttoniswas for.
Is it possible to pm people with the app?cos im not sure if i cant or i just dont see how.
The ratings should be in order
App works good. Good work geel
They aren't?
Add a ability to go into subfourms.
Can you please make it support all the android phones?
I am using the alpha ICS rom on my phone, and the firmware is not detected by market and I can't install this app
