3601's armor still works better than Tiger's. That's kinda really fucking stupid.

VK3601 outright bounces my ARL's 90mm.
212 mm pen.
what
Bounces 75 l/100.
198 pen.
what
This III/IV is such a boring tank
Does anyone have a link to the sound mod that was posted in the last megathread near the end? I can't seem to find it.
I often get critical hits with my TrollKV when I hit targets, what are some of the likely culprits? Crew members, view devices etc, often against the frontal armour?
And suddenly the name "Wargaming" takes on a whole new meaning
Everything.
Yes, thanks.
Yay finally got my T-34 85. I love it!
Also I need some good mods.
Depending on the tank, gun, tracks, viewfinder, gunner, driver, turret ring, commander. If it's german, also the engine.
Just bought the T-34-85. In what order should I research stuff?
Shot a T29 bang on his front. Took out his gun, loader, ammorack and gunner. Boy was there bitching when he repaired his gun only to get it shot off again![]()
there's a special place in hell for all spgs
I hate the fuckers with a passion. When my team is about to win a match and there are artillery still alive, I beg them to hunt them down and kill them instead of capping.
Edited:
Erhm, tracks -> turret -> 100mm cannon as far as I remember. Only take the tracks if you can't mount the turret.
Do I really need to research the tracks? I mean you only gain 0.3t in total weight load.
That extra traverse speed helps.
Arty splash damage is surprisingly effective. And for some reason my shots always land anywhere from the center dot to the half circle farthest from me, almost never the other half.
Also, does hiding in bushes really help?
People who snipe with the IS-4 make me pretty mad, Its one of the most bouncy tanks in the game.
Anyone on EU got an IS4?
Yes, me.
Gotta do an HE test against it, I'll invite you to the training room.
Edited:
get back online
I need lotsa monies quick, what of these tanks are monie grinders:
AMX 38,T57 or MkVII Tetrarch?
Neither of them but the tetrarch is the best of them.
I hate to ask this kind of question but Im pretty new to the game and Im going down the German heavy tank tree, is this a good idea or no?
German heavy tree isn't very newb friendly at all, it's one of those trees that need skill to play well.
I recommend going up Russian heavies or German TDs as your first tree.
SOON
If you know how to angle then it's a good idea.
Germans are good snipers so try to stay in the back.
When you say angling armour, I assume you mean turning the tank so that the shell hits the hull at a shallow angle? Like light bouncing in a fibre optic wire?
In some tanks, angling can be a bad thing too due to tank model (ex: IS-3, IS-4)
woops posted in wrong thread lol
I think you mean IS-7. The IS-4's front is flat, so angling helps a crapload and you can trust the black hole tracks to protect the exposed side of that thing.
Well IS-7 too.
When you angle the IS-4, one of these plates
will loose its angle, they aren't as thick as the frontal plate.
ಠ_ಠhttp://worldoftanks.com/news/997-YAWR9/ posted:
if they do this AND decide to nerf french tanks I'm just gonna ditch the tree
And then the EU servers went down.
Got the duck tank... oh the happy days.
I find it's actually better to turn those plates towards the enemy, it angles the MASSIVE frontal weak spot there, and that armor there is pretty damn thick. The only downside is that the ammoracks are behind those plates for some stupid reason, so if something manages to pen it, it may kill you. I've only had it happen once out of a hundred matches though, so I'm not concerned.
Angling is for pussies, just mash the gas and run head on into them
Aww yeah just unlocked and bought the Tiger II. Also I finally got a team that worked together and it was glorious.
