The Churchill is a pretty good tank, the only thing about it that sucks is that it is a tier V, which means it gets in matches with a lot of KV's, a tank particularly known for being extremely overpowered for its tier.

When was Wargaming going to move the KV-2 to tier VI again?

Hopefully for the better, seeing as the Churchill or T14 facing any other similar-skill Tier 5 tank (especially KV) much less Tier 7 tank isn't really going to hold up well.

If it makes them funner to play, I hope they have a sale.

Got my E-50, used some saved up free XP to get the tracks and turret. First match I get yelled at by a Obj. 212 for not killing a T-50-2 thats on the complete other side of the map. I get told I'm a noob, after that I go on to heavily damage E-75's and stomp a T30's shit in with the long 88. Fuck off arty.

If an arty calls me a noob, I simply stop what I'm doing (even if that means turning around at snail speed), go over to their position, point my gun at the arty's ass, and then tell him to say that again.

Most of the times they shut up. Then you get some utter socially akward retards who can't handle the ~told~ and they die crying.

Funny thing is, NOONE ever gives a shit.

My american 105 (198 pen) repeatedly bounced a tiger P's front hull (also what the fuck is with that stupidly good hull armor) while a type 59 repeatedly penetrated it. I paid attention and he was hitting the same armor strip as me at about the same angle...

I hit an IS-4 at 64 HP with 6 HE shells from the 105. Plenty of LOL YOU HURT HIS TRACK and nothing else. I rammed him at 20kph (of course my engine was damaged while I went at him) and that didn't do any damage either. What the fuck am I supposed to do against IS-4s

Get really close to him and shoot his viewport. That will penetrate if the diceroll gods are with you. I could pen IS4s with the 122mm from the IS, which has 175pen.

I seriously hope that they lower the ammo cost of the higher tier TD's with the upcoming economy changes, because right now my Jagdpanther is loosing between 5-15K silver each timer I play a match in it. Even badly damaging low tiers isn't enough to pay for the shell that did the damage, and if a tier 8+ heavy manages to ding your 1030 silver round, you just lost all the money, because the repair costs are already close to the income.

Frankly speaking, we had an idea of a hardcore mode, but in a different way, other than you depicted. For the time being, even if we remove over target markers and vehicle highlighting, there will still be a chance for cheating. As far as the shell ballistics matter is concerned, I assure that it is currently very close to the real one.
Currently in normal game mode you have to hit a vehicle from one to x times with a shell, which has a certain amount of damage, in any place you want. The main goal is just to reduce vehicles HP to 0. Module damaging chance on hit is something like 20%. This means that all modules have some kind of chance of not getting damaged after they are hit by a projectile or explosion damage.
In our opinion the future hardcore mode could consist of the following features:
Remove critical hits on tanks.
Vehicle is destroyed only when all crew is out of service, or all modules are destroyed, or ammunition rack has exploded.
Remove consumables and equipment
Remove crew skills effect.
In hardcore mode there will be no need to reduce HP. Instead you will have either to damage or destroy all modules, except for the Ammo Rack (destroying Ammo Rack will result in immediate tank destruction) or wound all crew members. The chance of damaging a module on hit will be raised to 100% regardless of the scenario. This game mode would be much more difficult and require good tank knowledge.
This is only a draft of the mode and it is not a final version.

I've hit their viewports plenty of times grinding the T29 and T32 but I have not once penetrated. I still remember when that fucking T25 AT bounced my IS-4 and penned my front. How the fuck does this work

A 200 pen gun should be able to penetrate the lower side hull straight on while anything aimed downward carefully as to not hit a flat spot can penetrate the rear.

But yeah, they're pretty bullshit against lower tiered players. I only even started to begin penetrating them using the BL-9 AFTER the armor nerf - even the battlebus's 90mm has a rough time much less any Tier <=8 medium.
