Well, its because of how he trades. He buys a very cheap unusual, and then, he claims he loves it, or just overprices it in general. He also frequently buys dupes, and other such hats (I'd assume he also buys hats from scammers/buys recently scammed hats, but I don't feel like doing any research on him). Essentially, he likes to bend the rules in his favor.
Also, as far as I know, he didn't put money into the game, like me.
