As much as I'm a fan of the mad scientist, I like the blinx the cat feel with those googles.
The cartoony bombs and ear ring is just bonus.

only problem i have with ziggs is that he has a lot of mana problems, and constantly needs blue buff.
otherwise this champion is amazing.
he has so much fucking utility and damage it's insane.
also either wota isn't good on him, the nerf really did something, or i just didn't notice myself being healed, but i don't think it did much

If I get new champs from RP I tend to get the bundle if it's a good skin because it's at a discount price which is nice.

This is how I built ziggs
(replace Zhonya's with Rabaddon's depending on how well you're doing)
This ends you with 400+ AP, some serious CD to spam your Q, which levels Tear of the Goddess/AA, Nashor's because lots of AP and the attack speed is great for pushing + CD, everything else is pretty obvious
you do need blue towards the beginning but I find that this doesn't result in terrible mana consumption

I was thinking of trying Lich Bane in its place
I mean, 40% CDR is damn near overkill anyway, and it's not like his ult is one shot one kill

the problem with that build is that you have absolutely no survivability, though he does have a lot of range
maybe get CDR runes and boots, and replace evil tome and nashor's tooth with Rylai's and Lich Bane/rabadon's?

Well it was a custom game so there's no real gauge of utility
I had a Chalice for the mana regen but I remembered it was a shitty item period so I opted for AA
With Zhonya's and Lich Bane I'd imagine you could take a few hits, maybe Rylai's or RoA for the HP

also zhonyas is meh because you don't have any channeled spells, if the enemy team is ad heavy i guess
also aa is going to take forever to charge in a normal game, the only spammable skill on ziggs is his q
I haven't really gotten to play a lot of games with ziggs, but double dorans into rod then deathcap/morellos/etc seems good

ziggs is pretty long range, you don't have to build a load of survivability because you shouldn't be in the center of the fight

AA staff is shit.
Ziggs isn't even that mana-hungry.
AA staff is only acceptable on Karthus or AP Kog.
