Hey everybody. This is a dummy account for posting in this thread, because between my sister and Dad, there is enough Internet Detective skill to link my other account to me personally.

Anyway, I wanted you all to know, I'm closet Bi and have known since about being 10 or 12. I'm currently 18 (19 23MAR) and every day I ache knowing that, if people knew who I felt attracted to, everything in my life would fall apart. My Dad would probably disown me, my mother would never look at me the same, etc. etc. - basically the usual closet-whatever blues.

But over the past few weeks I've been reading this thread and I feel like there is a tangible hope to someday be able to tell a guy I like him and hit it off, or tell a future girlfriend that I'm Bi and have her be ok with that. Basically, LGBT Chat Thread, you give me hope in an otherwise bleak situation. For that, I cannot thank you enough. I'll stick around and maybe chime in once in a while, now that I have the dummy account set up :)

It's a shame this thread is too overtaken by immature conversation to generate more conversation like this.

I'm sure if you try talking to a few people about it, things wouldn't be as bleak as you assume they are. It's great that you are finding hope, though :)

In other news I'm considering dropping out of college because the lecturers have given up cause most of the students play Halo LANs all day.

Well, I told my mum and dad, on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. My dad took it well but my mum was quite sad, they're both unhappy about the lack of a 'natural' family. I told the rest of my friends today, they are all fine with it, and I'm going to a thing called GLYSS, which is a like a social club thing for LGBT people on Wednesday and Thursday. Apparently there are walks, bowling, crafts, movies and stuff. It should be fun.
