well, I think I found out why Burial sounds bad on my hifi system (that and pretty much any other hifi system). It just takes away too much of the mystery in his music and exposes his poor production. Burial himself admitted in interviews that he has no real production talents and that he didn't like the way his music sounded until he started experimenting with distortion.
Looks like I'm going to have to EQ his music. I love his stuff, but when you have speakers with good separation and detailing it really exposes how poor the production in his songs are... after all they are made in soundforge a program that he described as "shit"

Dunno if anyone has ever watched Ideal before (it's a great show, check it out) this song popped up a few times and I really liked the sound of it. Just spent an hour tracking it down

What do you think about the idea guys? I joined a contest and i have to create a new song in dubstep in a week. This is only hours job and not mastered or anything.

All I really can describe and recall from it is it has violins in the background, real chill dubstep and a lady going "ho ha ho ha ho ha ho ha hoo ha haaaaiii"

It sounds pretty good man, though I felt that the drums needed some more reverb on it but I could be wrong. Overall, its impressive work.
