I dunno, doesn't seem like that excellent of a build for the cost.
On a personal level, I hate Radeon cards, but whatever works for you.
For the most part, you're just not getting enough. 3.0 Quad core and 8GB of RAM isn't that much, and 500GB is a tiny hard drive imo.

Someone with more experience can probably give you a better setup, but all I do for my computers is buy a prebuilt for about $800 and throw in a graphics card and power supply.
For ~1100 I have an HP desktop with a 1TB harddrive, 8GB of RAM, and a 2.6GHZ quad core and its like 2 years old. For the same amount of cash you could probably do way better now.

However, I'm also not including your Monitor, fancy mouse, and fancy keyboard, so its probably a better deal then I'm acknowledging.

That's because building computers is incredibly easy, all you need is a screw driver and an hour.
The semi-hard part is actually diagnosing and fixing problems with built computers.
