Can someone explain why airsoft rifles have "MOSFETS"
I know they are 2v transistors but I've no clue what use they could have in airsoft weapons

So, is it basically re-wiring the gun so the battery and motor are in a circuit with the MOSFET, and the trigger switch is connected solely to the MOSFET? I'm not sure if my 60 can use one, it already has a parallel circuit to drive the ammo box.

Should I get Ebairsoft Gear or Pantac when I do my PMC loadout? Because Ebairsoft is infinitely cheaper and I can have a full, complete loadout in like one order for no money at all.
Pantac is much more expensive but I guess the quality is better, resale value is better and I dunno. Coloration is a huge consideration in this shit.

Wow this site is great. It's like Ebairsoft but with an annoying BANG BANG noise when you hover over the top categories.
Debating if I should get an S&T Tavor and do what was suggested earlier and see if my local tech can fit the shorter barrel on my the ARES version and than sell the S&T with longer barrel but meh.

Pantac is real operator-quality, TMC gear is generally about on par with Condor except made of Cordura are less sucky representations of real equipment (the Condor 6094 doesn't even have a kangaroo pouch, which is blasphemy). Unless you plan to completely trash your vest, choose Ebairsoft/TMC (NOT weekend warrior though) and you should do fine. I plan to buy one of their vests when I can get an extra $65.

I'd vote a barrel swap, or somehow change/shorten the barrel on your current tavor.
Either way I know I wouldn't want to be stuck with the S&T tavor. lol plastic internals, and ugly, cheap-looking, plastic externals.

If the S&T retails for like $180 than I can maybe get $150 for it after it's been 'used' and the longer barrel is put on it. Not a huge return, but it's about the same as buying a new barrel assembly for an M4 I guess.
Also why ugly? The S&T looks like oily plastic in the pictures but in person it's got a decent finish.

I love airsoft guns.
M14 shoots like shit and range is terrible due to the hop being fucked. I take it apart, check hop unit, poke it and prod it and find it's working perfectly, put it back together exactly how i found it, now it shoots for miles and has the legendary range i was told it had when i bought it.
Makes complete sense.

So, went to the field sunday, my friend sold me his 3 year old JG G36c for $20. I feel bad though because I wanted to buy Notrabies' stuff, had to dump money into gun and car and other stuff at the time, then bought a G36c from my friend:c
It was broken (broken hop up bracket nubs), so I put my XM8's bracket in and now it fires.
I feel bad though, but it was only $20 :c

When I bought this one, I was mainly thinking about putting the gearbox into the XM-8 shell I have sitting around, i've been planning to buy a gearbox for it since April.
I still feel bad about pulling out of the deal before, but my parents were pressuring me into putting money into my car, so I did it now instead of later so i'd have a car to drive this summer, instead of waiting all summer to pay for it, which would suck.

In other news, I have the midcap from the XM8 i'm going to see if I can mod it to fix the JG, you can buy two of them for $10 in Dick's Sporting Goods, lol. Not the best quality but I believe they feed okay, plus they're p. cheap for G36 midcaps.

Annnnd the S&T Tavor has been released on ASGI God damn it looks good. I'm tempted to order it this instant but I think I should wait until I've assembled all my money around Friday. I have like $1,250 right now but by Friday that figure will look more like $1,600-$1,700.

Option A. Switch out the barrels. ARES is fixed, sell the S&T.
Option B. If not possible, sell ARES, make profit, break even with S&T purchase and have a prop/planking rifle for my IDF impressions. Awesome gun to have on my rack.
It's still a pain in the ass. All this effort over a barrel I can't swap out. I wish I could just buy the original TAR 21 somewhere and be content but no one is selling them used either.
The last option is to wait for the ARES short barrel, railed version and god knows when it'll come out.
