Notrabies has a hard on for shotguns right?

Someone is selling a G&P 870 on OP Chan.

http://operatorchan.org/ - Buy, Sell and Trade.

    $120 shipped. It's broken though.

Thanks for the heads up, but that's a ridiculous waste of money. G&P shotguns are just Maruzen springers with metal bodies. They're discontinued and the metal furniture is quite expensive to buy separately, so people try to sell them for way too much.

Yeah, their the ones with the Chicom stockpiles. I tried to order a paratrooper helmet from them once and they said they didn't actually have them and never planned to get more but never took them off the site.
I live by the damn place, I can take a look at their store if anyone wants me to

Guys I don't think I'm gonna trade for Ossum's SCAR-H anymore. I'm just gonna try to get cash because I'm taking a break from the sport so I can gather money together and hopefully buy a gun that won't shit out on me and the loadout I want. No offense meant towards Ossum's tech work.

I've decided I want to switch from M60VN to a Mk43, swapping the hop ups and gearbox over. Would anyone here be interested in an A&K M60VN with brand new internals for $300 shipped?

I'm going to try to come up with a manifesto of suggestions to improve gameplay at my team captain's MOUT field. Among them, I'm thinking we need to drop the 350 FPS guns' MEDs from 20-25 feet to 15 to improve gameplay and discourage cheating (some people also think switching to pistol = invincible for some reason).

Rate agree or disagree, explain reasoning. I'm tempted to make a thread called "Help Jenkem improve his community", let me know if you want me to do that too.

I don't honestly see that discouraging cheating at all. I could see it making it a bit easier to engage targets, though.

I know what you mean about the pistol=invincible thing. Gotta love hitting someone, only to have them unload into you a few seconds afterwards.

From my understanding, the issue is this whole required pistol transition thing. People don't switch to their secondary when people get close, its a last resort.
I know that this gets messy with FPS limits, but they should just make it where guns need to be below 350 FPS to fire inside of a building.

Use a pistol to fight your way to a primary.

Or clear a room if it's a tight squeeze.

I run a revolver now because it's fun as hell and it's just six shots to get me out of the fight and to a place where I can figure out why my primary isn't going bang.

Well, for most people I don't imagine there's much difference and it would be silly to sell one for the other. In my case, though, I'm a pretty big guy, so the Mk43 is just light, small, and ergonomic enough to use like an assault rifle, while the VN I pretty much have to deploy when possible. I realized last time I was using the VN that since I use it without a bipod and shoulder fire a lot, I might as well just use a version that's designed to do it.

Worst case I hang onto the VN and maybe mount it to a technical or something.

The Guarder T65K2 (another Taiwanese rifle) had a split gearbox like on the TM PSG-1, and it had some major internal problems. Because not very many people bought the gun, it's very hard to pinpoint exactly what those problems were, besides the harping from vague forumers on the interwebs.

I like those markings too, lolol. Traditional Chinese is very unique on guns.

Here's some pics of the T65K2 in case you were interested.

Note the shape of the handguard is slightly more triangular/boxy, kind of like the G36's, rather than the M16A2's.

When my friends first started moving on from clones to high end guns, which was like 6 months before they stopped airsofting, one of them almost bought this gun.

I just like the yellow-ness of the markings.

Never really looked at T91s before but that's awesome, it's like an M16A1 but with a twist.

Out of curiosity, how many bits are interchangeable with M16s?

I wish airsoft in my state was as awesome as it is in Scotland. People have diverse weapons and loadouts, they use teamwork, no one really seems to cheat, people get into it a lot more, awesome fields to play at, no little annoying kids, etc.

At least from Scoutthedoggie's videos, that's what I've seen.

Oh and they have those awesome thermobaric grenades. Does anyone know if you can get them in the states? and do they emit BBs or no?

Are you planning to make a JGSDF loadout?

Unless you have $1000~ to drop I don't recommend it.

As for the name of gear, I don't know myself. I know where to find it but the Yen is so much stronger than the USD right now that a single pouch costs at least $30-$40 and in order to make a proper loadout you need four or five of one of those pouches, plus canteens, helmets, helmet covers etc.

This is what they wear more or less.

JGSDF Flak Jacket and a JGSDF PASGT Helmet (Type 77? I don't remember what it's called)

Than they wear a JGSDF suspender set over top of it with JGSDF ALICE pouches on an ALICE belt. They usually have four to five 5.56 mag pouches, two canteens and a buttpack at least.

The Uniforms will run you from $100-$200 depending on what you want. You can get them 'cheap' on ebay but that's a trick because shipping is like $30-$40.

Also ordering equipment is another story entirely.

I have to use a service that buys the items, has them shipped to a warehouse in Japan and than ships them to me as a middleman because most Japanese stores don't ship international. (They're kinda xenophobic)

    Edited:

I've seen 'complete' JGSDF Alice sets go for $400 on Ebay.
