Repost so Notrabies see's it. If you think it'll be a good idea I can pick up an M500 for Blacksheep and buy a pistol grip to convert it so I can use it as a backup or breaching weapon. I'm not sure what good it'll do me since I'll be the Medic and I won't be breaching rooms but I am near the end of the stack so if I have to run rear security it may blow a guy out of a doorway.

Dentrinity is the place for looking at Maruzen shotguns.
Potentially a good idea, but you're adding more weight you might not want to. Could be good when we start raiding buildings at night with lightest weight gear.
At night time, a lot of the squads fall apart and everything gets really impromptu, normally just small groups of like 3-4 guys take a building held by a sleeping or groggy squad.

Maruzen Defender II is apparently in stock, but according to Felix, its a lie. Either way, you could do what I did and start at a full size M1100 and add parts onto it. If you really want, you could buy one and convert it into the M1014 kit like I'm doing:

I could always get one and not run it until later that night and use it as a primary or what not.
I'd buy an M500 thought myself. Cheaper, I don't plan to do what you do and use them religiously and they look better out of the box. Get a cruiser grip to go with it and I'll be set for Blacksheep and when I use it at my local field.

My new vest came in today. It's pretty nice. Adjusting the straps was sort of awkward and I'll take some pictures in a minute. It feels a bit small on me, but then again I'm a fat giant so that's expected. Other than that it's pretty comfortable.

Vest. I put my rifle scabbard on it. Its pretty comfortable except when I have my G36 in the scabbard it sags back a bit, but if I wrap the waist strap tight it holds fairly well.
Here's the adjustment system. you have to put a loop through the hole of the size you want on each strap, then you tie the loop off with the cable. The cable is for the CIRAS quick release thing. I dont know how well the cable will hold, but we shall see this weekend.

Also good news. You're capable of wearing a Battle Belt with that thing. CIRAS's are so big on me they sink halfway down my crotch.

Can you actually take the front pouches off a CIRAS?
And is it possible to get decent but still relatively cheap ones in the uk? All the ones i can find are either like £40 or £200, no middle ground.

"The difference between the “Land” and “Maritime” versions is how the outer cummerbund is attached at the front and where the quick-release handle is located. Both comes with an internal cummerbund which overlaps across the stomach and is secured with Velcro. The "Maritime" version has a solid center panel and two side flaps with Velcro panels underneath of them. Each side of the cummerbund attaches to the Velcro on its corresponding side. The release handle is located at the top of the front panel near the wearer's neck which allows ambidexstrous use. This version provides the wearer with a wide, uninterrupted section of webbing on the center of the vest which allows pouches for multiple magazines to be placed on the center of the body for easy access. On the Land version the external cummerbund wraps around and overlaps over the user's stomach and is secured under a single center flap rather than the two side flaps of the "Maritime" version. The release handle on the "Land" vest is located on the left side of the front panel, just above where the cummerbund wraps around. This version breaks up the amount of continuous webbing on the user's front, but allows the vest to be fitted with a different cummerbund which has additional pockets for 6x8" side plates." - Wikipedia

My SVD came today. I felt like a retard trying to attach the sling, and the screws that hold the stock on were rather iffy, but there's nothing but an extremely small wobble that I don't think will effect me.
I have nobody to play with right now though!

The hair is a bitch for airsoft, always gets pulled when I shoulder my gun and my bangs aren't long enough to reach in to a pony tail.
Also, scarf shemagh because I have a hat on.

My stuff came from evike, got my vest, pouches, BB's, silicon, patches, gearbox wires and my mag catch, only problem is mag catch doesnt fit so I'm RMAing it for a different one.
