    It's very simple.
    1) Install
    2) Log in to it through preferences
    3) Make sure your songs are in monitored folders or else they won't scrobble

Yeah, it didn't say anywhere in my documentation that you needed to edit the settings in tools. Thanks for the help.

Sorry to say, Klownox, but I'm going to continue using it. Maybe after a while I'll be deemed worthy to the point where you aren't such a jerk about it.

I wasn't aware you needed a special component for it to scrobble.

    Edited:

And even with the component, it still won't scrobble. This is starting to get annoying.
    use the .0.94 scrobbler

I have winamp to play FLAC.
Itunes feels better because it presents music in a more inviting way.

As long as they smoothly work and are easy to man-handle then I'm fine.

I personally like Foobar in Windows and Deadbeef in linux, both are super simple, straight to the point, and very plainly laid out. Check Foobar out, if you haven't already, AK'z.

I will in the future probably. But seeing as I use an ipod on journies, I can't really drag more software.

Winamp is probably the best I've used in terms of technical stuff.

Foobar has been nice so far, and it's ultra customizable. What I don't like is how simplistic the layout of the music is. After separating by artist and then album, I've noticed a lot of things get messed up and some tracks from one album copy over to the other.

    Edited:

I'm sure after some figuring out the tracks it'll be a lot more smooth. So far, it's much nicer than Winamp which I've used for ages.

I'm couldn't really care about how "good" it looks, I'm just saying it presents the music cleanly and appealingly.

If this is going to be the modern way to access a library of music, I'd like it to compare to the experience of physical formats.

I'd use any other program if I didn't have an Ipod and my Itunes wasn't so meticulously organized. I've spent hours adding song info.

I don't understand how so many of you can listen to the same genre on end for so long.

I get so tired of hearing a certain sound after a short amount of time.

I have enough different artists in every genre that I can easily listen to a specific genre for hours without getting tired of it.

I was referring to the people that listen to one genre exclusively for weeks at a time.

I mean, I did a sludge metal marathon that was probably 15 hours over a couple days, so I see where you're coming from.

People are different. Some have to hear something new and different all the time, others are at peace with listening to a same vibe.

There's nothing wrong with it at all. It's just that you are different from other people.

    Edited:

For example, people who hang out in jazz/blues clubs. These are people who live by the genres.
