I was referring to the people that listen to one genre exclusively for weeks at a time.

I mean, I did a sludge metal marathon that was probably 15 hours over a couple days, so I see where you're coming from.
if you mean stuff like mastodon, baroness or kylesa, that ain't a proper sludge marathon mang

You should focus on getting Hamburger Concerto.
So far its the only album from them that I have and its instrumental, but still great.
In fact, heres the whole thing:
Just note that the quality is horrible when compared to the actual album.

Your musical compatibility with Massive_Death is UNKNOWN
Once Massive_Death listens to more music, your compatibility score will be shown here.

    Edited:

I really like this guy I found out about a day or two ago. His entire group name is Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears. If you like James Brown and some boogie blues you'll dig him. He's very eccentric, he just sounds like he has a crazy amount of energy.

Gonna go through a couple of discographies (Pink Floyd, Megadeth, Dream Theater and Passenger of Shit) So my album grid will be looking mildly different soon.

highest it's ever been far as I know
    thr1c3's super-eclectic score is

    800/1000

I get 800-900 depending on whether I'm depressed or not, when I get depressed I can't settle on one thing so I hop around like crazy.

I don't understand how so many of you can listen to the same genre on end for so long.

I get so tired of hearing a certain sound after a short amount of time.
    No idea, I just can.

People are different. Some have to hear something new and different all the time, others are at peace with listening to a same vibe.

There's nothing wrong with it at all. It's just that you are different from other people.

    Edited:

For example, people who hang out in jazz/blues clubs. These are people who live by the genres.
Never said anything was wrong with it, it just feels like some people limit themselves to the point where they don't truly appreciate music as a whole. There's a difference between living by a genre and not listening to anything beyond the same few bands ever.

Yes there is, I just said that. But you act as though it's detrimental to do it.

Not everyone has to follow the same path.

    I suppose you're right.

Also, that super eclectic score thing has been broken for ages. Mine has had the exact same number since a month after I started using last.fm. For one, it doesn't count non-site scrobbles, and for two, it doesn't ever seem to update.
