It's not for protection. It's to cover up unrepairable damage to the hood from some asshat backing his oversized ball hitch into my hood and nose panel. I'm not going to dump $300 into a used hellrot hood, and there's no way I'm paying to have a new one painted. The hood bra is a simple, $40 solution to a cosmetic problem, and I could care less as to any negative opinions anyone might have about it; it's my car, and I'll slap any piece of meaningless material I feel fit onto it. You'll never hear me complain about the silly things some of you guys do to your cars.

personally I think the hood bra makes it look better, less boring, especially since it goes well with the rims and the top.

That would be even worse. Atleast being black it is more like an accent. I don't mind hood bras, but cars generally look better without them, unless they are covering damage.

Yea they do, I have one on my 350z. Just make sure you hand wash it cause if you take it to a regular car wash the spinners make it look like shit cause it gets super scratched.

If there's a platform I know of (Know you do too) it's the w-body / 3800, so I very well know that. Yet transaxle aren't expensive. The tranny is, but I'm already fairly certain that under boost my transmission will die. The 70km trailer total ride wasn't what would kill it
