The lighting on the horrifying creature that makes up my nightmares is great, but you need to learn textures, The rocks for example look velvety and the lighting on them is shiny when they would have a coarse texture to them.
Also you need to take into consideration sharpness. The lighted areas will have sharp edges on both the mouse and the rocks, but currently most of them have the same edge strength as the shadows and background, making the field behind the rocks seem very flat.

Thank you. Although I guess it's safe to say that I need to start using textured digital brushes instead of basic/soft ones. This is also my first serious environmental piece so I'm hoping to improve later on.
