I took it as the pier being wet and reflecting the sky.
Unless the sea was romping around during a storm or had been hit by some rain it wouldn't be wet though

Or at least not wet enough to form into puddles with enough unbroken surface area to reflect that clearly

Any small amounts of water would soak into the wood, given that it appears to be untreated timber

I made me some gothic lettering for a roguelike game project.

It's handmade, I didn't download a font. To get the spacing I typed out "Red Dungeon" in Arial in a semi-opaque layer behind it.

Is it bad I can't draw anatomy for shit unless I have a reference ?
It's more knowledge than drawing ability when it comes to good anatomy without refs I think

Obviously they go hand in hand but you know what I mean, you have to be able to imagine and place everything just right, which takes years to develop

As with every bit of artistic advice, usage is subjective. Some visual styles would benefit from the top lighting style, some would benefit from the bottom

Any suggestions to make this look better?

woah holy shit this is almost exactly like a drawing i once thought of in my mine
but the tear in the ground looks like it isnt really a tear , maybe make the overhanging rocks smaller?
the grass(?) doesnt really look like grass, its too thin at too far a distance.
the clours do not fit at all with the drawing, i would suggest changing their colour and shape
the planet in the background's transition from light to dark would be slower and the colours less saturated (as your in this places atmostphere)
i really like the water and the mound-house thingy though

Google "sunset beach" and use it as reference.
Get the color to look right first, then add some shadow and lighting on the water.
Then try to get some details.

Prettymuch the only thing about this that bugs me is the bright red color. But, I sketch in random colors constantly, so I'm not really one to talk. I think it may look better if the shoulders were a little wider. I like the legs and the head/neck. Torso seems pretty good too, it's just those really thin shoulders stick out as something peculiar.

Lizards tend not to have very wide shoulders, so I'm going to stick with these narrow ones. I tried wider ones, but they didn't look good.

It's pretty decent, but I dont like the thickness of the legs, looks a bit bulky and impractical.

Also the lack of proper feet is a bit offputting

They were meant to be powerlegs, meant for incredible strength and speed. (You don't have to have skinny legs to go fast) The feet are for nimbleness, which normal feet can't accomplish all the time. The term, "tripping over your own feet", exists for a reason.

    Though I appreciate your input.

Huge legs will slow you down and human feet are built the way they are because they work perfectly for our form.

    - Max Speed 70 MPH
    - Max Speed 47 MPH
    - Max Speed 40 MPH

    vs.

    - Max Speed .2 - .69 MPH
    - Max Speed 25 MPH
-33 MPH (note that the Rhino has the thinnest legs of the "thick legs" bunch but goes fastest)

Humans are built for endurance, not for speed. We can run for ridiculously long amounts of time (compared to other animals), but we aren't built to be very fast. However, the fastest human is this guy:

And I'd say he has some pretty thin legs for an athlete, and he clocks in at 27.79 mph. Faster than an Elephant.

You can see from that example how the weight is shifted on the foot so that we can balance and walk/run.

There's a knee there, but it's harder to see front-side. The joint is covered in stretchy material to hide it.

Only problem is she isn't human at all..
Maybe I should attempt to make an animation at some point demonstrating how she runs.

Bah I don't know, the whole universe she comes from doesn't make much sense & isn't practical at all anyways.
I mean, moon powers that make purple flames?
Nuclear powered failed experiment with super heated plasma blood and surface veins the width of Italian sausages, with hair that can form into a hard whip and has hundreds of rows of teeth?

    I have a terrible imagination.
