Also, won the Dolphin Dash T-Shirt Contest again this year.
Here's last year's
And this year's
I'm kind mad they messed up the colors and some of the letters.
And some watercolors I did in art today
Potato!
Nice colors, too much dithering on the guy though.
I really like the way you have shaded around the lantern, very nice piece, something does feel a bit iffy about the perspective though
His legs look a bit too big for the body?
needs more foreshortening on the arm I think
Thanks for the input guys. Do you mean the lantern holding arm, Barnhouse?
That makes me think so much of monsters from the original Quake.
yeah, the hand could be a bit bigger
Fuck this shits ugly. I could shit on paper and have it look better than most of this "art"..
hes going up and down a bit too much, and he's like, stomping on the ground.
but it's really cool
epic troll m8 good 1

garbglalrbalr I'm drowning in how watery and nice this looks
agh, how are you so good at those?
You can stitch multiple scans together with gimp/photoshop pretty easily.
Hahah
You should be sketching out your forms lightly when you start a drawing, so the composition is worked out and definitely fits to your drawing surface before you start detailing
Pretty sure that's all on one page but it was too large to scan in one go in the scanner,
so he stitched the multiple scans together....not multiple sheets of paper.
This guy's got it.
Progress.
Edited:
He's an energy body, so if he looks really shiny, it's mainly because he's semi-transparent.
OH
That makes a lot more sense![]()
does anyone know, if it is possible to have dynamic symmetry in illustrator without shelling out for gaylandia symmetryworks which is like £500
One way to make it slightly better is to erase the darkened edges when you're
stitching the images together. Looks like you also rolled up the piece of paper,
isn't a good idea when you're looking to scan something without marks.
Or you could just try and get some alright lighting and photograph it.
Ahhhh, look at 'er breach! It's days like this on the mighty sea that make ya' feel alive!
Heavy WIP, want to ask critique on depth/perspetctive.
It's going to end up as a room.
Adding another wall to the right might improve the depth perception of the picture
Ive began using perspective lines, adding details to the walls and floor.
I dont want to box it in with a wall though.
Got suggested to add a bit of the ceiling in so Ill try that.
Thanks for the quick reply![]()
Well I only ever really draw half of it. I just mirror them in Photoshop.
Made an Ak101 toy gun. 1/1 scale makes it shoulder awesomely.
Robot refuelling thing I'm going to model in 3D for a contest.

I'd add one but then it wouldn't look like the ingame model!

Nice, I noticed a little typo at the end though "So I made* this tutorial".
