They're good if you don't go over an inch imo. My drama teacher from middle school had quarter-inch plugs that looked pretty great on him.

Idk if you were thinking about getting this done, but don't. Even if it looks good now and you like it, your ear will permanently be stretched out. The ear doesn't go all the way back to normal after you take out the gauge. Basically you're going to regret doing this to yourself eventually.

Alright, got a party on Saturday. Got some new jeans and a new shirt, dunno whether to wear my vans or the thing which is coming up:
    Shirt:

I like it, they're the in thing atm, I'm glad, they're awesome.
    Jeans:

The picture doesn't do them justice at all really, pisses me off because they're nice.
    Shoes:

Idk whether to wear these or my grey Vans, will probably be my Vans, opinions?
I actually like everything but you should go with the grey vans for the party.

Not quite. it depends on a lot of things. How big you stretch them, how quickly you do it, everyone's skin is different, etc.

yeah, most people's ears will go back to normal as long as they don't go past a certain size and stretch them the way they're supposed to.

Fuck yes I love your odd future avatar, Rella makes me piss myself laughing everytime I watch it.

Also I am planning to start stretching my ears soon, the only reason I didn't do it sooner was my high risk of infection from my disease.

I don't very much like ear stretching, but it works with particular styles as loco demonstrates. However, I can't judge too harshly as I plan on getting a tattoo eventually.

If that's referring to my post, I mean the connection of criticism of body modification (tattoos, piercings, gauges, etc...)

Lobe stretching is quite specific, tattoos have a million times more variation to them. You can't think that if you get a tat or piercing or do anything to your body you instantly become a "modder" and can never say a bad word about anything anyone else gets done

Hey if I am going to be terrible, I might as well do it right and be well rounded!

edit- I hate people who get gauges and maybe two tats and consider themselves "modders" and let those things define them. If you're going to get something, get it because you enjoy it or it has some meaning for you since it is going to be on you for a long ass time (both tats and piercings, even if you can technically take those out).

I think it can look good sometimes, but the bottom line is it won't be fashionable or cool forever. Depending on how far you stretch it there's a good chance your ears will never fully go back to how they were before you gauged them. Later on in life, I think you'll regret it.

A normal piercing is 1.0mm. I have a 1.6mm stretcher, I'm going to 3mm on Monday a lot of shops you can get them from say they'll heal fully as long as you don't go past 10mm, which I'm not. They look cool sometimes, you just need to suit it.

    It's good within certain sizes.

Don't stretch it out too big that you'll need surgery to close it.

gauges are wayyyyy better then plain old earrings, on guys, in almost every situation. Unless you only have one because having one lobe stretched would look retarded.

    Hi fuls,

Just got this, what do you think?

Will be wearing it with a white shirt, don't worry, and I have some nice shoes to go with it. But it was late, and I still have to wash that shirt.

I like it, but it's definitely too big. If you can, exchange it for at least the next size down, or maybe two.

Also those pants are a little baggy, but you could have them tailored no problem.
