    I highly suggest you guys check out I44, been in the beta testing team for quite some time.

    new animations, weapons, vehicles, missions and the maps... HNNGGG they are godlike.

    oh and flametrowers with spazzy panic animations and screaming when your on fire.

    Which one? I want to see!

    What are some good singleplayer missions for I44? All the other singleplayer missions won't let me save and its pissing me off. Or at least how do I enable saving.

    Armor simulation?

    I'm more confused with as to why the KT is so fast than anything. They damage it pretty goddamn heavily as soon as they stop shooting his frontal armor.

    Tbh I44 has lacked proper armor simulation from the beginning,
    The tanks and planes where quickly put in and then the guy working on it had to leave due to rl obligations.
    With this latest update they just wanted to be done with it and give you guys as much new shit as possible.

    beta tester ey :V

    This mod really shines at infantry combat though, love how you can mount a infantryman's mg42 onto a tripod so its still a portable and shootable weapon. (unlike the BAF gpmg tripod)

    New animations are sweet as well.

    Aerial combat in I44 is a lot of fun as well. ArmA's engine is really well suited for this type of content.

    I have to say though the B17's bomb implementation is fucking retarded, anybody with a brain would immediately know that using a script-based weapon like that would fuck up as soon as the server had more than 5 groups on the field. Just give us a 20rnd bomb magazine and full auto.

    well i can understand the speed, i'd rather drive 60 km/h with the loss of realism than barely moving at all in 35 km/h

    even tho the king tiger had an awesome frontal arc i'd much rather see it at least take some damage when getting shot at by 50 AT guys in the front.

    i think the problem is the AI's aim. i took out a kt with 4-5 bazooka rockets in its side

    Maybe, but that's sorta the point of the KT lol. 'Fuck off' armor at 'fuck me' speed.

    Also yeah it really should. Whether it penetrates or not is irrelevant, it's a bunch of explosives hitting the front of a tank who's front glacis was known to fall off after sustained fire. W/e, better than nothing. Just the product of an incomplete armor system.

    I can never hit anything with a planes machine gun, air combat is impossible for me so I always end up using heat seeking missiles.

And to go further can I ever transfer it so it's editable in the standard editor? I don't quite understand the function of it. I also noticed it uses proprietary vehicles/unit names and whatnot too, while all the content is still familiar.

    You have to convert it to a mission.sqm file, I have the program for it and I'll talk to you over steam about it.

    i tell all my ai to engage at will and they do nothing, but if i jump out they start shooting.

    Bazooka seems to be the only AT launcher that's not worthless in I44

    Edit: Because the other launchers projectile speed is so low that it can make using them effectively suicide bombing.

    i cannot for the life of me get use to this game. i cant get past the boot camp because how weird the controls are, and the game seems really fun and i want to play it but i just cant :(. anyone have any tips or anything?

    the flamethrower is fun when its not bugging out, remember when the HiP team first made it, it was great then but now there are animations for enemies burning and it setting the user on fire if shot

    make sure you set the head bobbing slider to its minimal setting, it makes moving around easier, some basic addons like shacktac movement addons http://forums.bistudio.com/showthrea...ovement-addons are useful to have.

    get six updater so you can easily install new addons, play a mission like armex once you can hit targets at >300m with iron sights try an online co-op

    seems to me that player numbers are down but online is where arma is best, i have played thousands of hours but havnt completed the sp campaigns

    That D-Day Landing mission in I44 2.6 is hella fun, charging towards the shingle from the beach with tons of bullets whipping up sand meters in front of you is terrifying and awesome.

    Invasion is fucking fun, the AI gets really bugged in multiplayer, in 2 of the missions we played, the AI would just ignore me, so I could just run up in the middle of their groups and shoot them all in the face. I had like 80 kills at the end of the mission.
