If you haven't heard of it yet I highly recommend inchworm animation
Great alternative to flipnote, seeing as how the 3ds doesn't have flipnote.

Turns out she found it funny. Then attempted to kill me. So all in all, she laughed so all guilt is gone. :P
For those who have Pushmo, here are some QR levels I gathered around the internet. Share some if you made some yourself.

Anyone grab Revelaitons today? I was gonna go and buy it later.
Played through the first two missions of Revelations. Pretty awesome, of course. The Genesis is a bit more annoying than I thought it'd be, though... it basically forces you to pixel-hunt for supplies.
There should be a jelly icon to use to rate posts when we are jealous
The GameStop I preordered Revelations from didn't receive their preorder bonus on time, still waiting for it.
I played through about ~6 hours of Revelations today, I think it's fantastic.
Playing through Revelations, I keep forgetting that I'm playing on a portable console. With the games available on the 3DS, it feels like I have a home console in the palm of my hands.
Also Revelations is great so far. Just beat episode 1, and the second part where you're on the ship as Jill and you split up from Parker made me a lot more paranoid and uneasy than the entirety of RE5.
got up to the rachel level (you probably know what i mean). i already know what's going to happen, so fuck, i'm playing raid mode until i can muster up the courage
just beat Revelations
I already wanna play it again![]()
I totally wasn't excepting the captain to insta-kill you.
He lifts you up by the huge mouth that shoots out the traps, then uses his saw (why the fuck a saw of all monster designs) and cuts you up. No detachable limbs though, so it's a shame I didn't get to see Jill cut into two.
So when you're fighting him, don't turn your back on him.

Is it really that short?
I've heard the story is like 8 - 10 hours long, so about as long as a console title. It took me 45 minutes just to do the first couple chapters so take that as you like.
That's somewhat disappointing but I guess my expectations for story length were too high anyway. Will still probably pick it up at some point.
I'm taking my time on playing it, not rushing it (not that I'm sacred, I've played the Dead Space series and that supposed to be scarier). Now I'm at Episode 3 and holy fuck... that boss is insane. One-Hit Kills ya, and why does it have a chainsaw? I had enough of that in RE4 >.<
Edited:
Yes it's short, but Raid Mode should keep you entertained once you beat it.
I thought Capcom boasted about about Revelations having 20 hours of gameplay content or something?
What company doesn't do this
Seriously, when a company tells you to expect a certain amount of hours, cut their number in half and you've got a pretty good idea of how long the game is
I thought it was decent length, took me about ~14 or so hours. I just play through new games basically nonstop until I beat it.
It does, 12 (13?) chapters that get progressively more complex, raid mode which has 20 levels and a bonus level, and 3 difficulty levels (new monster placement etc) for each bonus stage, a shit ton of unlockables from characters to outfits to weapons etc.
There's far more then 20 hours.
probably includes multiplayer
Man dat final boss... epic! The story was pretty good too.
Raid Mode is quite addicting.
So this would be a good buy for me and my brother? It would be good to have something to play multiplayer that isn't MK7. More content than mercs?
yes
the raid levels are the same in the campaign, but there's a level of customization and unlockables for the weapons
I'd say so. I haven't tried Raid mode out but I've heard it's a lot of fun, you can't do co-op in the campaign but the campaign is good enough to warrant the purchase if you're an RE fan. Easily the scariest RE to come out in years.
Ahh, the lovely StreetPass Mii game.
I go to a community college and occasionally I can get about 3-6 people per day on the campus in the weekdays. I picked up someone who was posing as Link and also someone who was posing as Hitler. (he was named Adolf and obviously looked like Hitler)
So Adolf Hitler had a go dealing 3 damage to the ultimate ghost in Find Mii before he got scared off. And I got a puzzle piece for the Star Fox puzzle from him.
You know, all considering, I'm surprised I haven't gotten a penis shaped Mii on my streetpass yet. I guess people are less likely to do silly things like that when the distance between you and them was 100 feet when you passed each other.
Metal Gear Solid demo out tommorow on eShop:

I finally figured how to put music on my 3DS. It's awesome! Anyone know if you can put videos on the 3DS somehow? I would love to put some of Egoraptor's videos on mine.
Can't you just put them on the SD card like music? I don't even know if the 3DS even supports video playback from the SD card though now that I think about it. You might just be stuck with netflix and the videos available from the eshop and such.
I just tried it. It didn't work.
FJDSJHFKAL
The demo for Snake Eater is out by the way. Downloading now.
Just got my first (used) DSi for u$s119! Yay living in a third world country.
I feel like I always get things last. I couldn't even find the Revelations demo on the eshop until the end of the day it was released...
There's also a Super Mario Bros update apparently which brings all the VC Feature in and 3D etc.
I bought myself a 3DS shortly after christmas, I got Super Mario with it and later bought Ocarina Of Time.
Has anyone found any streetpass mii's? It's fucking impossible.
Can't see that.
Weird. The MGS 3D Demo isn't on the store yet for me.
I have. Usually I find alot of people at the mall.
You have to go to 'downloaded titles' in the eshop and apply the update from there. It basically makes it have the same features as gameboy VC games and such, and the logo on the screen changes from a still of the title screen to a tv with NES next to it.
Also, reading people's reaction to MGS 3D demo, apparently it's an 8 month old build that was shown at E3 2011. People are complaining about the controls and such, which I journalists complaining about at E3 2011, so it's not the updated version other journalists got to play with recently.
Edited:
Apparently it's only out in Europe...
Just played through the MGS demo, its very solid and the controls work really really well with the circle pad pro and are easy as fuck to grasp.
The demo itself is a bit 50/50 its the same great game that I remember but there are a few little niggles that really pissed me off or just dissapointed me.
First off, there are so many jaggies that at times its impossible to actually see what you are looking at, because you are just looking at pure aliasing.
Secondly, the game seems to be plagued with framerate issues, not even minor ones. The framerate drops really low at times.
Thirdly, the textures seem a bit naff in places, especially on enemies.
Finally, I was really dissapointed that you couldn't make your enemies all bloodied like in the original :(
It used to be so cool shooting/stabbing enemies and patches of blood appearing on their clothing.
/Rant
Hopefully they can fix some of these things.
