Wow, amazing stuff on this page.

Don't know if everyone does this already, but for those who don't:

Also, I saw that I gained a new fan. I especially liked the part where he thought that he could come in here and post stuff like that and not expect something rational to be said about it.
Thanks, now I don't need to make a tutorial ;)

I love how certain people always give boxes. it's so predictable. Like, i'm not sure if it's supposed to be insulting or not, but it garners the same reaction as watching a six year old go "your mom!" after everything you say, it's just kind of pathetic, yet elicits a degree of bemusement which balances the monotony.

who gives a shit about ratings anyway? they're a crude and primitive way of expressing an opinion if you're too lazy to write up a comment.

    Flying taco might have helped.
Both small truck/vans look nice, and dat wheel is great shadow. Small movers are fun.

Also, just a thought, how hard might it be to make a holo chain system? Since I'm raging over my tracks right now (fucking askdhflkajshdf the fucking drive sprocket to tread wheel links)...

I can't say I agree with you regarding that, the only thing I ever see of him is negative, condescending or plain dumb.

    But does it steering?
Yes, you do the steering like normal with normal ballsockets. Perhaps I shall make a tutorial after all.

I'll make that tutorial for you, the only tool I'm using nowadays is Precision Alignment and I'd say I could make an OK tutorial.

I'm still working on the Grosser, doing changes here and there and wiring it up. Here's a quick thing I did today.

I also added a new front bumper which looks a lot better than the old one.

Probably be a 500 prop job minimum, but not too far fetched considering phoenix and I pulled off the DH-88. If I could get him to come on I'd coop it with him.

Balto, join my server (193.218.154.215:27056) and in Advanced Duplicator2 in your own folder you will find the Douglas. It's yours. I can't make it to fly by fins, every attempt ends with a fail. I'll make it flying, but on ApplyForce. I give you an opportunity to make it flying in proper way.

And another thing, a gift for everyone: http://maxplaygmod.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/MaxPlay
Extended version of Miliatary Vehicle Sounds. I added sounds of planes, helicopters, futuristic vehicles and some new tanks. All from Battlefield 2, Project Reality and Forgotten Hope 2.

I'm still working on videos. I'm done with about 2/3'd of the Grosser video and the same on the Beetle. Thinking of scrapping the Beetle project though, because the car itself mechanically speaking is very boring, compared to the Grosser.
this is why it takes time to edit stuff.

Me Gusta!! That's a really nice design; does that track actually work?? If yes, props to you my good sir! The propcount on that must be quite painful; tho.

    Another attempt with airplanes:

I was lucky with that one. It flies by the fin, it has a working elevators, ailerons and the rudder! The applytorque which controls them, somehow tilts whole plane on right side, I need to fix that. And of course, the propeller is one big pain in the ass.

    EDIT:
    Done!

It's around 200 for the uparmored one. The regular is about 135, without the detail props it's in the 70s. The tracks are holo, I posted a few vids of em on my youtube.

Also, I hadn't realized it because I don't play there usually anyway. Random thing I just noticed now. Petty childish bullshit is still amusing (oh look I see a box coming too!)

I found out how to get some efficient fin going with a bit of help from another person, so I made a turbine and strapped it to a car. Was pretty fast, did the 0-60 MP/h in about 2.2 seconds.

I mean, who hasn't tried doing this before. just thought it was fun.
