Where exactly can I buy AR/M4 pattern rifles and have them shipped to NY state? Anywhere I look I can't find "NY compliant" AR's and when I do they're really shady websites that without descriptions or details and obviously I don't want to buy from those sorts of places.
Since NY hates gun I don't have any place locally to go and buy one so if I could order one that'd be the best bet.

From what I remember, they made a few hundred in a limited run at the same Polish plant they originally built them by the same specifications they did in 1935, other than that, which is more a reintroduction than a reproduction, I haven't heard of any. That, and a repro when the authentic is legal isn't worth shit for a collection.

A quick Google tells me it takes 6 months to get a firearm in NY and you have to be over 21...

Did you go on that NYPD website? Because I don't live in the city but that'll always, without exception be the first six or seven resources on google.
I think it's over eighteen and when you place the order they have to make you wait three days while they do a backround check or something silly.
That's what my grandfathers told me, he used to be a gunsmith but he hasn't been in the business for many, many years. I can't find decent resources on it because everything is for NYC.

Best bet is a local gun shop. Buying guns from the internet and getting them into NY is a huge bitch.
Most gun stores are loaded with ARs though so you shouldn't have any trouble, plus they usually have pre-ban mags so you can have over 10 rounds.

I agree with this guy I live in upstate NY and I havent been to single place that sells guns that dosent have at least 5 AR's. Gander Mt is overpriced but they have them and Herb Phillipsons when I was there the other day they actualy had an M16A1. I love Herbs they have such good deals.

I live in Orange County. Barely an hour and half from NYC. I've never seen a gun shop here and I couldn't find one looking. All we have is Dicks and Gander Mountain.

Can you imagine a silicone .50BMG round hitting the ground right next to you and splattering all over the place? Or, worse, bouncing and basically being erratic as all hell.

Half those places closed down or don't actually sell guns.
Hell one of them is run out of his garage. One is a Deli, one is a bait and tackle shop, the rest are just gun ranges.
I was on that site earlier reading up on handgun permits. It's basically easier for me to go get a license in PA and come back to NY with it.

You guys know that link I posted, of that store selling all that surplus? THEY HAVE PHOTOS OF THE PISTOLS AND NOTABLE RIFLES! Unfortunately, most of the rifles they pictured were prohibited machine guns, but they've got the photos up of a bunch of the more interesting stock, and it's BEAUTIFUL!

Have one and love it. Takes pistol mags, folds, can be field striped without any tools, is reliable as hell, is simple in operation, and it can smash a dinner plate at 100 yards. The only real disadvantages are the sights and the stiff bolt pull.

How's the recoil?
My uncle placed a special order for a glock 17 version. Goddamn it's taking a while. How long do special orders usually take? It's going onto two months and I'm wondering if I'm better off finding one at a gunshow.

Can't see the recoil being much with a rifle like that. Seeing as you said G17, it shoots 9mm. Then the recoil will be almost non-existent with the stock out and proper stance.

Last time i bought a spam can it never came with the fucking tool to open it, SO I THOUGHT!
So I spent some time stabbing it with my bayonet and prying it.
Then I found the tool afterwards, it fell to the bottom of the package and was covered in Styrofoam peanuts.

Didn't really want to get 440 at the time.
Once I use up the 100 rounds though, 440 is probably our next buy.
