From the right angle, sure, but I don't like how much that covers the stock on the left side.

That's just me being extraordinarily picky, however. My Nagant's my baby, and I want to make sure I pick the very best for her

    Edited:

Also when it comes to bent bolts, do you prefer straight down, or this?

I prefer the ones that are swept back all the way
The one you posted have that ugly angling, but the regular ones are awkward
One that is swept all the way down but angled more down are p much superior.

Garm's shop that had a scoped dragunov, apparently got it in trade. I called them last night to see what they wanted for it. The guy only wanted $650 for the fucking thing. I wish he hadn't sold it I would have bought it on the spot.

Tore between getting a DSA FAL or a PTR-91.

    Edited:

    That would look nice IMO.
If you're going for a PTR-91 go for the GI variants. From what I've read they can handle the Surplus ammo far better than the other ones.

DSA's on the other hand I've heard nothing bad said against them. They seem to be pretty darn gud.

Well that's something new. I've seen people putting real RDS and scopes on their Nerf guns before, but never the other way around.

Also, it needs a Recon light and Stampede foregrip as well for maximum tacticool.

Off the top of my head it's got everything to do with a Class III licenses, huge tax stamps and tons of paper work, plus the weapon has to be made before 1986 and then there's the actual cost of the gun which is in the thousands.

    Not worth it IMO.

That part is true if you don't have a class three with the accompanying stamps and paper work and time. Either way your looking at a couple grand for a full auto weapon...

To clarify the AWB and NFA state that guns made after 1986 require licensing and what not. Guns made before don't though they will all be up into the "to rich for my blood" price range.

This comes up every few months. Mexico only sends the guns they are sure came from the US to the ATF to be searched. And if that gun was EVER in the US, be it bought, sold it built here, then it will be considered as "From the US."

Mexico only sent the ATF probably 17% of all the guns they captured to the ATF to be checked, and only 70% of those had ever existed in the US.

Vast majority of those are military contract guns sold to the Mexican Army, which were then stolen and used by cartels.

    Edited:

As an individual, the gun must have been registered prior to May 1986. You tell the seller you are interested. You then have to complete the paperwork, which means either creating a trust to own the guns, or submitting fingerprints to the ATF along with a $200 check and waiting 6-9 months for it to come back. If they give you the go ahead, you drop anywhere from $3,000 to $60,000 to the seller, show them your approved paperwork, and you get to take your MG home.

If you are a Class III FFL, you can buy newer ones at a much lower price. But if you lose your FFL for any reason, the guns must either be sold or handed over to the ATF.

Alternatively you can buy an AR-14 OR AK-47 for around $700 and a slidefire stock for about $300 and have a legal semi auto rifle that fires as fast as a full auto without having to pay for a tax stamp or shell out a new car

AC-556 is full auto and thus is regulated by NFA '34 and FOPA '86.

You do know if you're over 18 and a legal citizen of the U.S. you have to sign up for the draft (sorry, I meant selective service)? They'll come after you if you don't. You also need to be registered for the draft(again, selective service) in order to attend college.
