We haven't heard from Housemaster, yet, so it's not clear what is going to happen--he's obviously trying to make it work. As a last ditch effort he can send it to Mojang and maybe they would be cool enough to help fix it-- or, more likely-- fix the problems in the converter that are causing the map to crash. It ain't over 'till it's over.

...worst case scenario would be a new map. Even though that would be a horrific loss, life would go on. There would be a new spawn cherry to pop. Newbs will die at spawn, people will talk smack, bronies are gonna do their bronie thing, the spammers are gonna spam... it would be like old times.

Who knows, perhaps in 2b2t.net v2 there [I]will[I] be a facepunch republic?

I have fixed the problems and started on a new solution now, and I'm going to take advantage of the downtime to change and fix some other things, so it will be a while until it's up, no guesses this time on when it's going to be up, sorry, but I can promise that once it's up it should have longer uptimes and less restarts and less minor/major downtimes.

the 2nd one you posted wasn't anarchy. It had admins/mods on it and a wall of rules at spawn.

Easily nothing close to anarchy. 2b2t is the only server I've seen thats pure anarchy that has more then 2-3 players on at a time.

Then you're obviously mistaken. There is only one "admin" which is me, and I don't play on the server unless I need to on my OP account. It isn't a wall of rules, it's clarifying that I'm not going to interfere with give people special treatment.
