    Okay, so according to Edmund, he's not going to fix flying out of gauntlet rooms when the doors are locked, there's going to be a "Skatole"-like item for an enemy type other than flies, and he is looking into adding a Random character option.

    Neat
    He didn't think about an avatar maker like the in plants vs zombies?

    It would be pretty cool.

    I think it'd be pretty cool if there was a character with randomized stats. So every time you pick him you get something different. Maybe one soul heart, three range, one damage. Or two damage, two normal hearts, one range.

    Random item spawns already make a lot of people start over and over again until they get what they want on basement 1

    Just have the passive/use item(s) only be from an item pool so people can't spawn with Mom's Knife or Brimstone or something.

    They're permanent passive upgrades for as long as you are holding them in your inventory, they can be replaced as quickly as you found them.

    I'm kind of curious to what some of the trinkets actually do though. And then those new pill effects, I really want to know what they are. Man, just wanting to know more about the new stuff in WotL gets you hyped up more

    In almost all of the WotL screenshots, his floor has at least one random room with a star in it, implying there's treasure. If that treasure is a trinket, is it safe to assume they'll be about as common as pills or something?

    I'm guessing that white hearts are going to be temporary hearts that are even more temporary than soul hearts. Like the extra heart you get from using the Strength tarot card that only lasts for a single room.

    Wouldn't they be after the soul hearts then? Otherwise they're pretty useless if you have several soul hearts.

    The way the Strength tarot card works, it will grant you an extra temporary normal red heart. That is why I compared the white heart to the hearts that are granted by the Strength tarot card.

    The stats themselves have diminishing returns. There is no set maximum, you just get less of an increase with each damage up you get.

    Damage multipliers like Book of Belial and Strength are unaffected by these diminishing returns since they are multipliers.

    Don't your attacks get bigger in size instead?
    Tear size is proportional to damage done.

    Basement and Caves was fairly easy - I just can't finish Depths and/or Womb without taking damage :(

    I got depths in one of my early runs... Got shovel death deal caves 2, and I had an emperor card. So I went directly to mom and beat her without taking damage

Considering how I was farming D6, I Can See Everything, and The Noose for about 2 and a half hours, I think we can safely rule out that I won't be lucky enough for Krampus either.

    Taking no damage greatly increases your odds of encountering a Devil room. Making 2 or more Devil rooms appear maximize Krampus' odds of appearing in one.

    Just stop taking that much damage and it should fall together

    I might play some Binding of Isaac even though I 100%'d it so when the DLC comes out I don't suck at it

    I did one run and it was fucking amazing!

    I'm fucking huge! Also I have more than the 12 hearts it shows too.

    And of course all the items I got. I got some pretty good drops.


    I have no idea why so many people have problems doing a run with ???.

    I also passed up using getting Brimstone cause I heard it got nerfed so I stayed with regular coal shot.
