You snap your shit with shit form and simple over training.
wait twin muscle wat. have we gone so low as to take advice as fact?
I think they are absolutely hilarious, but like they say, it is just advice so I wouldn't follow everything they say all the time.
ya theyre p funny but their entire catalog of advice sums up to anecdotal and do what ever you want and sometimes things that are outright untrue . atleast they arent as bad as scooby
I take it you watch the hodgetwins.
My parents are driving me up the fucking wall latley, they cannot STAND the fact that I eat clean, and I lift weights.
My mom almost started smashing shit up in the kitchen cause I was fryin some damn egg white.
Like come on now. I'm eating all this shit, and I pay for 100% of it.
It's like they offered me a piece of lemon pie, and I said "No that's not part of what I'm eating right now, but thanks".
The response I get is: " YOU THINK YOUR SO GROWN UP ALL OF A SUDDEN, WHY DON'T YOU JUST MOVE OUT (Just turned 17)."
good form, nice finish
11/10 would lift with

They are parents, that's their job - to question every new lifestyle change.
I take it that all of these programs cost money to some degree? Such as the Strong Lifts 5x5 thing. There is a big download button but I bet it will just ask me to input CC details after a week or something.
Then again, I have to get fit. I'm quite the lardo at the moment, ~181 cm tall and I weigh about 97 kg.
At least I have a carrot on a stick to motivate me now.
Do you guys think that I should focus on losing weight first before doing something like the Strong Lifts program? It says that you don't have to but then again, I don't really trust the website since it is just trying to sell its product.
Edit:
Reading it again it appears to be free. Silly me.
Edit:
Thing is, all these programs seem to be aimed at those who want to become muscular. I would rather just lose a bit of weight and gain some strength as an added bonus. Is there no fatass thread that I can visit instead?![]()
Developing the human body isn't rocket science. The best workout programs/information are free.

My back was in serious pain while watching that.
For some reason, it reminds me of a guy I saw at the gym yesterday. He was using wrist straps to curl an EZ bar that had no weight on it. Wasn't a small guy either.
Adding "muscularity" will increase your fatloss. You'll probably lose a bit of weight on it, and gain some strength and size.
okay, ladies and gents. question time.
So, I'm doing a 6 week havoc cycle, 20/30/30/30/40/50 mg cycle. I already know what I'm taking for a PCT, what should I be taking for OCT? Currently, I'm taking Animal Pack vitamins, liver cleanser, Havoc, AR-7 pre-workout, a carbohydrate supplement, and whey protein. I suppose I'm basically just asking if what I'm doing is correct, and if there's anything else I should be taking.
PCT is Nolvadex, as far as OCT, I'm in the dark on that. I don't know what I should be taking.
So indulge me, weightlifters.
Lift weights, do cardio, eat food. It's quite simple. Stronglifts is free for all the important information. You'd only pay if you want access to their Gold forum or whatever.
Anyways, you'd probably be better off doing Starting Strength Practical Programming.
Havoc is epistane, which AFAIK is a DHT derived compound and doesn't aromatize (convert to estrogen), so you probably won't need anything else on cycle.
Don't expect impressive gains, most DHT like compounds suck dick as far as packing on mass. But it will have nice effects on strength, hardness and you'll probably lean out quite a bit (depending on diet ofc). Coupled with a caloric surplus and plenty of protein you can probably expect a bit of nice size gains.
No drinking fucking alcohol while you are on cycle either. Srs.
alcohol is dumb and bad
No it's not. They're being fucking morons.
Are you an orphan?
i hope so
holy shit today was awesome
hit new PRs for deadlift (150kgx1) and shoulder press (50kgx10)
and then I had to wait 1 hour for the bus to come because of incompetent drivers
fuck you
Okay, good to know. I was pretty sure everything I was doing was right but I wasn't sure. And yeah, the no alcohol thing sucks. But it's not that bad, I can deal with no drinking for 6 weeks. What happens if you drink on cycle? Obviously bad shit.
For gaining purposes I've begun taking a different more carbohydrate enriched protein as well as a carb powder that I just mix in with my protein.
No.
It's not a parents job to question your healthier diet by acting like a child.
Agreed. My parents do the same and always try to get me to eat desserts every day, and I tell them I don't want it (which I really don't, I just feel ill when I eat many dessert-type foods) and they act all weird about it. I love my parents, but the truth is that they are both in declining health due to poor diet (simply just overweight for my dad, and my mom is weighscale-phobic), and I am in great health.
I say don't drink because majority of oral steroids are stressful on the liver. Combine this with alcohol intake and you have a recipe for notable damage.
can I smoke weed and still get big & strong?
I smoke weed every day. Helps get all them calories in.
I don't see why not, unless I am ignorant, but I don't see it doing any good if you plan on doing cardio ever. Assuming you smoke often.
Serious answer to probably joke question![]()
no i'm being serious.
My parents have been very supportive for my lifting and dieting. They even plan dinner so that I can eat with the rest of the family without breaking diet.
Smoking weed alone will have no negative impact on your body. Studies have shown that smoking weed does not decrease your lung function(I cannot attest to that, as I smoke cigarettes occasionally). Only thing you have to worry about is when you're high you aren't going to want to lift, and you are more apt to eat dirty foods and stray from your diet. Other than that you should be in good shape, I'm a prime example.
can anyone whip me up a good split for 4 days a week of lifting?
I do various body-weight exercises, and lately I seem to have plateau'd on my push ups.
Every Tuesday Thursday and Saturday I do various push-ups. Do I need to increase the frequency or take a break or something?
While I hate to sound like your stereotypical stoner, I honestly lift harder. It's weird. Marijuana increases blood pressure, and that combined with AR-7 pre-workout is ridiculous. Try smoking before you workout, it's fun. Makes it much more enjoyable.
Try harder push up variances? IMO though, if you dedicate time to bodyweight exercises, you may as well look into weight lifting. Better results.
-because i'm not allowed to give advice ever-
I blaze multiple times throughout the day, daily. I find myself fairly sluggish after smoking and taking my preworkout rather than just my preworkout. It does affect everyone differently though, so I don't doubt your claims. I would like to try a very strong sativa before lifting though.
Maybe I should just start smoking weed again to help bulk up
I gained 8 pounds in 3 months because I had hardcore munchies![]()
I know Zyzz didn't have the most perfect workout, but I think what he did well was do different lifts for the same muscle groups. For example, on what you wrote up, the 3 different kinds of bench press are extremely similar to the point where it's like doing 9 sets of bench press. Instead, he could do barbell bench press, dumbbell bench press, and incline flies (straight from Zyzz's routine) and he'd have 3 different chest-targeted lifts that engage different sets of stabilizer muscles and areas of the chest.
Same with the curls, they're all virtually the same, just different wrist rotations. Instead, he could do 21's, dumbell curls, and barbell curls. Maybe even chin-ups. All hit the biceps but work different stabilizer muscles so you can actually do a bit more instead of being completely burned out in certain spots.
Also don't see any leg lifts in there. You can completely eliminate any need to do ab work by throwing in squats and deadlifts, as those use the abs in stabilization.
Not trying to jump on you or anything, just a few modifications I think would make that routine a little more effective.
Sorry bro, that's bullshit. Cite the study so i can spergily pick holes in it's methodology.
Regardless of the content being tobacco or weed, you are breathing in smoke. It's harmful to your lungs. Tobacco in and of itself isn't harmful to your cardiovascular function, it's the combustion and repetitive inhalation of smoke.
The studies you are thinking of are the ones showing that cannabis doesn't have an increased risk factor more than Tobacco smoking does.
tl;dr if you are worried about prime cardiovascular function, vaporize your weed or eat it etc.
Nope, occasional use of cannabis shows no decrease in lung function in a long term study.
