This setup is money right here. I'm not a fan of otang wheels and I've never ridden paris trucks but I can tell you that Abec11 classic thane 81a has the smoothest slide around and caliber trucks are some of the most stable cast trucks I know of. I'd go with the caliber/abec11 setup if I was you.

agreed on the bushing part but use this to get yourself some stuff to play around with, spending $20-30 in bushings can make a hell of a difference in your ride.

Practice, practice, practice. Anything standup, don't be afraid to lean back more. When I do heel side slides its almost like I'm sitting on a toilet, thats my analogy and I'm sticking to it.

They're extremely simple and very mid grade quality from what I remember reading. Like I said, its pretty much the kind of setup you make so you can loan to a friend or just something to thrash the shit out of and not give a shit.

literally just killed my flashbacks today. Had them exactly a month, and damn did I leave the craziest lines on my local hill today. It was literally covered with thane, I'm debating if I want to buy another set though.

i have orange, and its the greatest thing ever, dont get anything but orange. The baluts are fucking amazing. They're extremely icey, but also very controlled. Definitely get baluts

Bushings are super easy man. I'd post a youtube video explaining it but they're all retarded looking. You just take off the nut, take off the hanger, put baseplate bushing in, put hanger back on, put roadside bushing in, tighten the nut. You can look at a video on youtube, its really easy to do.

Sounds pretty cool, so I'll just get the board pre-made then buy the bushings separate and put 'em on myself. What do bushing actually do? prevent wear?

Good gods, anybody know how to put a damned Bones Swiss bearing back together? My friend and I disassembled one of mine to clean it out, and it doesn't want to go back together. We just cleaned the other ones and didn't hand dry them because this one simply won't fit back in. The parts won't mesh, nothing clicks back together. I tried putting the balls in the retainer, then putting the inner racer, and then putting them in as a group in the full racer, but nothing's working.

You know how a car has suspension? Thats kind of what they do. Some bushings make them more lively, some make them feel dead, some give you more rebound (bounce back), some give little, some you need more effort to turn, some require next to none. You can have literally endless combinations with the amount of bushing manufacturers and durometers and formulas that are out right now. Personally I like venom bushings and pretty much everyone and their mom does too.

miniglider for sure. earthwing is a great company with a great price/quality ratio. bustin's got a bit of a bad reputation, but i've never heard anything ill of earthwing.

Earthwing is fantastic, only heard good things of them, but excuse the Bustin fanboy in me for taking exception to the bad reputation bit. They make fine decks, they used to be prone to breaking, that's where the bad rep comes from. The new models are all very, very good. Stiff, so if you want flex, you might want to look elsewhere, but they're still great. Can't go wrong with either companies tbh.

So far these CS 73mm 80a raceforms are really nice, a tad choppy since the mold release is taking forever to come off but although they are a tad choppy with the mold they still slide super easy for me. I was pulling 10ft+ like it was easy mode.
