I read that this series will only have 7 episodes, is that true?
I read that this series will only have 7 episodes, is that true?
Correct. But 'only?' The past three series have only had 6 episodes. So this is a treat :)
For some reason I thought it averaged 10, but then I saw that 10 episodes per series only happened 3 times. Oh well.
Hahaha. "Fenton! Fennttooooon! Oh Jesus Christ!"
"It's not their finest car, they should've called it the Ferrari India Special"
Brilliant episode
oh god when you saw mays scooter and when clarkson said that steven hawking has arrived i was laughing so badly it hurt.
"And over here is an electronic tablet--"
"You mean an iPad?"
i knew that binocular thing was going to hit him in the head. Hilarious.
I didn't get that. Did they not like the india special?
Oh god, this season is getting progressively better.
Edited:
Before I forget, next weeks summary.
They made a subtle trip to florida I hope that wasn't this season's america visit. I want american car reviews/bashing (Mainly Hammond getting in the 2012 challenger)
It was one of the worst specials. I mean their cars didn't even break down
How many specials have ended up with them "falling in love" with the awful cars they choose?
The one in which they buy old Italian super cars for under £10,000.
'You can buy a super car for under £10,000, but for the love of god, DON'T'
Gonna be great on Sunday.
Yay!
Matt Smith!
Who?
Yeah, that's him.
When James May is over 100 years old he's going to be doing television documentaries in a chair just like the one he built. It's perfect for him.
Well, I was watching some of the behind the scenes videos for this season, and discovered something pretty neat: Jeremy apparently owns a bright scarlet Aston Vantage V12. And James owns a Fiat Panda. (although the Fiat is pretty well known already, it's still rather interesting that it's his daily driver)
What episode is the beat up red truck that's mounted in the studio from?
Season 3, episode 5 and 6
Next episode's summary.
Is it me, or have there been quite a few war references this series?
oh its only Korea Top Gear.
What episode is it where they have a road trip (I think), what I remember is that James is in a newer rally car, and it gets so hot he has to ride around with no clothes on.
Can't find it :/
Season 10, Episode 1. And that was an Aston Martin Vantage.
Awesome, thanks <3
Why not for a change they have James or Richard interview the Celebes? But then again if James May was interviewing Robert llewellyn it would be a 1 hour chat about engineering, very boring.
On "the worlds most dangerous roads" beforehand, its got that dude from the inbetweeners lol
Watching the Three Wise Men special, it's one of my favorite specials. Haven't seen it in ages.
yeah, that and the vietnam speicals were the best ones by far
Indeed
This episode was pretty good, loved the joke about OFCOM in the news.
Next week's summary:
It would be nice to see the interview with kimi, the new lotus F1 E20 car seems to be doing really well in the testing and it would be nice to have some feedback. Very exited for the new F1 season.
The new F1 season that not many people including me cannot watch as we dont have sky....
Ariel Atom. Fuck yes.
Brutus was glorious.
But my favorite part of Top Gear is just watching the guys crack jokes and rip on each other.
There will be streaming sites. I don't have sky either, shame really. means i can't watch the cricket without the internet either.
