Edit: Not playing again till these FPS issues get fixed. I have to turn off everything under advanced to even get close to 40 FPS, then any effect causes a really bad drop, like 10 FPS or lowere. It's fucking unplayable. This game is going to die if this keeps up.

I got a bounty, then got overrun by bounty-hunters, so I took cover within a cluster of cars and threw 2 concussion grenades. As expected they tried to follow me in, and everything explodes.

Also, the $800 kill, I'm not sure if I killed another bounty in that blast, or got paid for killing myself

Oh, and a strange thing happened earlier. I used a Concussion Grenade to kill a target that was hiding behind a set of crates. One of the crates flew away due to the blast, and in its place was a box with a Joker Carbine in it, what the?

Well, APB uses Unreal Engine 3, you could try using the UDK.

Armas guns are ment to be better, if they were not nobody would pay for them. You will never get the same things paying players get for free. The guns is not 100% accurate either while jumping and most ppl mark up their tv / moniter with a dry erase pen just to do it.

Vehicle bailing is good, yes, but the bunny hopping isn't the problem. The problem is infinite foot mobility combined with the long TTK which greatly amplifies all of the balance problems. The game needs more momentum and less health.

Good point, but then I'd say that it's a combination of multiple factors relating to how the player moves in the gamespace. Bunny hopping being just one example.

I had an epic last-stand earlier, it almost made me want to stop playing. Sonar and Blackhawk are dead. I killed 2 people, one a CSG PR1, with my STAR. Then when my magazine ran out, I managed to Snub a Whisper PR2. Then I got called an aimbotter by the Whisper.

The other day I took out a CSG user in close range using an obeya with HS3 on it as if it were a joker. He shot me 3 times before he went down, but somehow I missed most of the pellets and didn't die. Afterwards I said "I have no idea how that just happened" to him.

Yeah, performance is sorta touchy in this game. For me it got slightly better, for others it got horribly worse. And it seems like each patch balances the scale differently, for better or worse for everyone.

Yes, why would it be open ? UDK has a way of packing the files, but you need a key of sorts to properly unpack them.

Edit: Even if you decrypt and unpack one, you couldn't repack properly. Only way to edit them is hex edit. Someone made a mod a while ago that made the little rubber nipple things invisible. I got kicked near immediately for modified files by punkbuster.

Figured it wouldn't just be open. I'm not trying to modifying anything anyway I just like poking my head around in the files.

I do agree with him that it's annoying being pared up with high golds while we're medium-high silvers.

Yeah, it gets annoying even for me, and I'm Gold. I just hate having to play like a Gold, which usually entails using every trick from the book and then some, and also having to have modded guns to excel at whatever role you're covering. Silver is nice, very nice. I got it just before the threat fix while everyone was dethreating. It was my first time being a lower rank in a long time and my god it was enjoyable.

Though now it seems G1 had pretty much just locked your threat in place to fix it. I'll be gold for the rest of my days. :<

Anyone else fucking hate 1v1 matches?

I mean, mainly, I'm not very good at this game and half of my kills are sheer luck, but they're also slow paced and boring. I'm at the point were I simply refuse to play the mission. The last 1v1 match I played, I did 12 laps around the city.
