That's the one. It's always funny when you get that one from a boss contact.

Blowing up entire enemy teams in a car with an ALIG is so fun
I think I'm one of the few people who still refer to the weapons by their real-life counterpart names. Yeah I know they're heavily modified but the silhouette is similar enough.
maybe if youre a gun nut or play too much cod or somethin, most people go "what" if i say so much as "he has an ak" instead of "he has an ntec"
I'm sorry but if they don't know what an AK looks like they're really dumb.
Yes.
I recall a conversation between two people about how they thought the OBIR looked like an AK47 once. I laughed.
Gun nut elitism anybody? The only guns I recognise are the ak and the spas-12 shotgun. Oh and the ACT 44 is a desert eagle right? And I only know that because I have played many video games. Your average person doesn't know much about guns. It'd be like expecting everyone to know what you mean if you refer to the cars in the game as the real-life vehicles they're based on (exceptions being the obvious mini and jeep)
I don't expect anything, I refer to them in that way reflexively. I don't care what anyone calls them. If I was a car nut I'd refer to the cars in that way. It wasn't elitism, I was just discussing my perception.
I call many of the cars as their GTA series counterparts and IRL counterparts.
I refer to most ingame cars by the ingame name especially when it's a fictional car based on a real one
probably why it pisses me off to no end when people decide to break the lore and add their favourite real life cars to GTA
the Vapid Cruiser is 4x more boss than any gayass Crown Vic interceptor model they'll ever make
So, I officially have a maxed out Enforcer and a maxed out Criminal. I can finally say I've experienced APB fully from both sides.
and remember what game we are playing here...
good point
I mistook your tone I guess. For that, I apologise.
Edited:
I have been playing almost exclusively on my crim for over 600 hours, and I'm still not maxed.
![]()
It took me 500-510 hours to max out my Enforcer and 400 (exactly 400, lucky me) to max out my Criminal. Then again, I don't spend much time at all in Social, maybe that's where some of your time has gone?
I don't even want to max out any of my characters, then, what's the point of even playing? You beat APB, job's done.
You can still unlock role progressions and just pvp for fun. That is what i do.
Or you can start a 3rd character and work on maxing him/her.
http://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/...-weekend-only/
Oh hey, for this weekend anyone with premium gets 40% off armas, instead of the usualy 20%
I still have premium due to the retail box >_>
Sorry, wallet.
Stop giving them your god damned money, make them work for it.
Just want to say I started playing this game yesterday for a few hours and it's fun... Except the matchmaking system puts me with golds who obliterate me constantly...
I even unload entire magazines on them and they don't die, wtf?
Looking for somebody to play with :'/

I understand there's a learning curve and all, but goddamn this thing is hard on newbies... :/

BTW, this thread is incredibly helpful
What server are you on and what faction do you play?
Right now I'm a criminal on Colby
Darn, I play Enforcer/Criminal on Joker, as do most Facepunchers.
Uh ok, I'll create a new character on Joker then... Thanks! :D

In the meantime, I'll keep on learning by getting my ass kicked![]()
So someone hackusated me last night and was like "Nice aim-hacks, thx i recorded this enjoy the ban."
Here is the kicker, this person began following me and recording me while I was doing other matches. This person spent the whole night following me lol, whenever he see me driving around he would stop and start following me again.
And just now that I wanted to get premium but got no left over cash I can't buy anything and there's a god-damn 40% discount
I hate myself
What's with all the "hackusations"? The chat window pops up and people accuse themselves of cheating and stuff...
No-one can accept the fact that someone else is better than them
As Mr. Someguy said, this game is the Cold War, just replace communists with hackers. Plus, people in this game are stupid, and some of them need to accept that people get lucky or are just better than they are.
So, I've been watching some tutorial videos on YouTube, trying to get the gist of it and all, and so far I've made a little over 10k by stealing cars, mugging people and ram-raiding...
I noticed the standard weapons I have hardly do any damage; One time I've been witnessed and I managed to run into the enforcer 3 times, the last time I've managed to unload my clip on him and he didn't die...
Unless I'm lucky enough to run him over, they kill me 98% of the times...
What weapons/upgrades do you guys suggest?? Thanks in advance! :D

Also, what if I go "solo" and sorta "hunt down" enforcers on my own, that should increase my notoriety level way faster than usual, right?
The TTK in this game is longer than a lot of games.
I assume you're using the STAR, which ironically despite being the starter weapon, is the hardest to use properly. It's got an average rate of fire, low recoil, average magazine and reload, its an all 'rounder. Despite it's excellent accuracy, it suffers from rapid accuracy decay. This means if you fire at around 2-3 shots a second, you're likely to hit every shot, but going automatic, you won't hit a thing. When using the STAR at range, fire it semi-automatically as mentioned. At medium range, burst firing is acceptable. A 2-5 round burst, short pause, then repeat. At close range, full auto is acceptable as the accuracy loss isn't as much of a problem. The STAR loses accuracy fast, but it also regains it fast, don't be afraid to take your finger off the trigger for a moment, nomatter how short, it can make a difference.
I hope I've covered enough. I'm kind of an expert on the STAR, but at the same time I suck at teaching![]()
This is my favorite bug. I griefed so many of my teammates with this.
Hahaha that's funny as hell!
Too bad I'm a good teammate and I don't see myself doing that anytime soon
Edited:
Yep, that's the one...
Ok, it all makes sense now! I did go full-auto on him, mid-range because he was kicking my ass and I got desperate :P
I'll try to learn how to use that thing, thanks a lot, man! :D
Did you ever make a character on Joker? I'd be happy to (when I'm on) add you to the respective clan and take you around a bit, show you some stuff.
Yeah I reported this awhile ago. It's fun but I have a hard time with the timing the grenade.
It's tricky, but the STAR is a valuable asset if you can use it properly. The fact that it's permanent means it'll always be there when you need it.
Edited:
My grenade timing is iffy. Sometimes I'll blind toss a grenade as far as I can and score a direct hit, or something I'll throw one at a target 5 meters away and miss completely. I have instances where I fail to hit a car moving at 5mph, and yet I have times where I'll nail a Cisco moving full speed.
Yep, I've created a criminal... The handle's the name as my FP nickname, Pretiacruento! I appreciate it! :D
Edited:
I'll make sure to learn the ins and outs of it, then ;D
FYI Most of the clan are active Enforcers, not Crims.
Me and Zoey are active on both.
