    here

In all seriousness I kinda like the beats. Not a huge fan of the rapping nor his voice.

It's mixed well and it's not bad. But it sounds like every other clubby youtube rap song ever. The same drums. The same bass. The same sound effects. The same decent flow with words that don't seem to have any connection to each other. You've gotta set yourself apart if you want to get noticed.

The whole plug-my-videos-everywhere-i-can approach isn't doing you any favors either.

    Really bland.

    Half decent production though.

Hate to give a little philosophical lesson, but the way to be known these days is to be different. Nobody wants the same stuff they hear over the radio 24/7. The way I see it there are two types of people when it comes to listening to the music; those who rely on the radio to give them music they'll enjoy, and those who don't. The ones who do are too stubborn to give music like this a chance, and the ones who don't are out there listening to more experimental, barrier breaking stuff.

Moreso, stuff like this is what we've all heard before, someone rapping over a beat. People that push boundaries tend to live immortally in terms of music, maybe Michael Jackson released a tonne of hits, but Dark Side of the Moon is still hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time.

Point being, do something original. I like the beats and all, but they get too repetitive too quickly.

Not really. The production is a lot better but your rhymes are still weak.

    Your first two bars were

    "I'm high
    still smokin"

    and then
    "Diamond in the rough
    i'm a stud"

    come on dude

Hip Hop usually gives me a thrill in the way it moves. This is so linear, even the chorus isn't enticing enough.

It's pretty clear you work more on the smoothness of the instrumentals though. Can I ask if you'd rather be an instrumental hip hop artist than a rapper?
