A shame how bad Far Cry has become. The first one was amazing in its day, and still quite cool now. Trigens messed it up a bit but being jumped or rocket sniped by them was terrifying.

The combat looks better than Far Cry 2 atleast... And you have a voice, which is always a plus story wise, as your character actually is someone. And i also bet that you can turn off those enemy arrows, and make the game harder, as that looked like super-easy mode.

Wow.
A lot of FPS games have arrows that point in the direction where fire is coming from/nades are, but this game has arrows that point to enemies not in your direct line of sight. I think that's about as far as you can get into holding players' hands without doing all the aiming for them.

I think the guy playing the game made it seem run and gun trying to zip through that first part as fast as possible, I'll check this game out as it looks like it might be better playing it for yourself taking your time to look at things rather than zipping through everything like an adrenaline junkie

I think it could be fun on the harder difficulties. That guy is just a goddamn bullet sponge. At least enemies are easier to drop, I felt like it was half impossible to kill someone in FC2.

Actually, this looks quite fun.
Cod as a single player game is quite fun, cod as a multiplayer game is shit.
This does look a lot like cod, but still looks fun. I think the problem here is that this is the first far cry that seems to feature indoor type fire fights and closer battles. I don't like the regenerating health at all to be honest.
I also REALLY don't like the rubber banding effect when knifing someone or doing an objective.
I still have hope, far cry 2 was actually a really fun and engaging game if you looked past some of the bad mechanics; maybe this is the same case with far cry 3.

This might not be Fry Cry, neither was FC2, so I don't know what you guys expected. But it looks funner than I'd have expected it to be, and whoever is saying this visually looks bad needs a crack on the head. I thought it was interesting how they made a boring looking cave into something awesome looking when he was tripping.
