The gun reminds me of the Pulse Rifle from the Alien series.
Wow, looks awesome, right up my alley. I am very excited. What sort of things will one be able to do in the game?
Looks VERY interesting. I liked Terraria but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. This actually sounds more like it.
This is like my dream game
I want to see robotic dinosaurs in this game.
This looks incredibly interesting. But with the whole "Terraria in SPEHS" comparison, I hope it doesn't turn out like a one-shot item hunt as well. I really hope for some replayability, but other than that it looks great.
This looks great.
Is it going to include any building elements like Terraria?
Will it get a steam release like Terraria did?
This looks like it could be pretty awesome, I'll definitely have to keep an eye on it.
terraria recycled in space
How are they procedurally generating weapon models? Does it have a set of guidelines, or something, or have they just made a bunch of pieces and it randomly sticks them together?
Looks amazing, I am definitely buying, also does anybody know if there is plans for Steam or Desura support?
I just wanna know if I can fly the dropships at will and crash them or if they land on their own, if I can build how I please on any of the planets, and, if you can build, would the weather affect the materials that I build with, like building with, say, bricks on a planet that rains acid.
That does look great.
I'm still wary though, a mixture of genre-fatigue and past over-hyping (Terraria was not bad, but the hype was through the roof) keeps me from being excited for 2D indie construction/exploration games nowadays.
It'd be cool to wage massive battles over planets that are abundant in resources and what not.
I hope this game has AI squads/civilians. It'd be awesome to create a settlement and protect it.
So, unlike Cubeworld, this team doesn't reject contributors.
Sending him some music samples, even though I didn't ASK to contribute, it's worth a shot.
Can you make the vehicles control similarly to "Cortex Command"? Flying in that game was so much fun.
Obviously make it less difficult.
shut up and take my money
A co-op procedural space exploration game is something I've wanted for ages.
I'm wondering if the animals and plants will be procedurally generated too.
Procedural Generation: The Game
If so, this will be amazing.
I'm actually really surprised he listened to all three of my songs and gave that much in-depth criticism.
Any dev who takes the time to write all that is p.cool.
Missed the agree button :d
Sounds amazing and I think I already expect way too much from it
One thing that's bothering me, the logo seems way off compared to the rest of the game's pixel art aesthetic. Anyone else with me? Seeing the swooshy and sleek STARBOUND logo almost evokes images of a business, not a light-hearted adventure.
