So Garry had an idea...

Someone codes something (a game probably?) in a day, and passes the entire project on to the next person, who spends a day on it and then passes it off, etc etc.

And then we voted on a language...



So we will make a game in Lua + Love.

We'll continue on this game until we run out of people to pass to or we finish the game!

You can work on whatever the hell you want during your time with the code. Make art or sound assets, code up a cool render class, add entities and items, do backend work. But you have to finish what you start by the end of the day (or have someone willing to continue your work).

We need someone to start the development. Before we choose this person, we need to decide on a genre and theme! Let's start discussing this now.

Now here's an idea I've been toying around but can't get around to do it because I don't want to get into web development.

Make a website where it's basically this (think drawball but it isn't), where you can rent a tile in a grid to draw in, pixel art mainly, and you can group up and draw with other as well. And it ends up being drawn on an infinitely large grid. You can invite people to draw in your tiles, or you can lock it down or make it available for your "group" or whatever.

Kinda like that SA pixel art project picture that is floating around the internet.

Take it one step further and maybe you get 4 free tiles to draw on and if you want more you need to buy them for 50 cent each or something(to avoid spam).
