Coming from a guy who had acne, my main tip for those who have it is just keep oil off your skin...
Anti-spot (whatever its called) facewash can dry your skin out like fuck so just use regular hand-wash every now and again whenever you feel your face getting too greasy.

I know acne isn't caused by greasy skin, but trust me this DOES help.

I don't have that many spots and I'm using Clean & Clear, just trying to find something that will keep them down for good instead of an outbreak every other week... probably doesn't help if im drinking alcohol, eating fast food and having low amounts of sleep at least once or twice a week.

Stress adds to acne development too, so just don't be stressed.
Also I use stuff by Garnier with their Pure Active range, works like a charm, fights spots but also masks blemishes.

I mean I know acne can be damaging to your confidence but come the fuck on that's only the really bad cases of acne, you're extremely lucky, the acne you had was incredibly tame, it was more like a couple red spots on your face instead of a real outburst of acne.

I'd have to agree with this one. I used to have severe anxiety and my face was a forest of pimples and puss.

Staying calm (or getting medication for anxiety if it's not that simple, like in my case) really goes a long way.

Prozac only gets rid of chronic anxiety. The rest involves you actually trying to stay calm.

I went on a 3 month or maybe 6 month dosage years back. Didn't die. Standard reaction - dried lips, red marks on skin as acne vanished. All good now. No acne for over 11 years. I would recommend people on it be around family and friends a lot, as it can lead to depression, but that may be just exacerbating an existing problem.
