Hey everyone! Does anyone know a really good sci fi movie. One that contains a lot of mystery and suspense? Something that comes along the lines of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Moon, Sunshine etc..

    Thanks in advance

But also "Contact" and "The Abyss", even though they're on earth.

Pandorum isn't half bad in my opinion, there are quite a few people who disagree with me though, so just see for yourself I guess.

Was anyone else annoyed that everyone in Pandorum whispered? Most of the time I couldn't understand a damn thing anyone was saying.

Hopefully I'm not the only one who thought Event Horizon was a terrible film.

Forbidden Planet is good. Definitely recommend it.

event horizon and supernova are basically like two parts of a whole which is dead space the movie.

so if you like dead space you should probably watch both. the former is excellent even if the director is kind of a retard, i don't think i've seen the latter, i think it's shit though.

    Carl Sagan wrote the book.

So if you want similar good stuff, watch the "Cosmos" series (if you haven't already). Honestly that is definitely a series you will never forget.
