Hi FP. I currently have 830 USD to blow on a "gaming" laptop.

Here's what I'm gonna buy because I can't find anything else better.

If you can find a better laptop than that one for less than 830 USD, I will buy you Dear Esther on Steam. (Or any other $10 game on Steam).

    Thank you!

Just to get this question out of the way. Do you really need a laptop?

    That is fucking promising.

You my friend might just be the lucky winner.

    Edited:

Actually, it has a lot of bad reviews for being flimsy and over heats like hell. Not sure if trust.

"Cons: The laptop feels cheep like plastic. Mouse is hard to use."

    Mouse wut?

Also rember the rule, Newegg Review = Vocal Minority and most of the 4 or 5 star reviews say it has good build quality, so their is some contrast.

True. But I'm also wondering if having a higher resolution screen will make games run with less FPS. So I'm not sure if going with 1920x1080 is a good idea for a mobile GPU.

You don't need to run the games in 1080p ya know.
    Just means you can.

Well wouldn't it look all messed up since its not running at the native screen resolution?

    Edited:

Oh I just saw the GT 555M on the MSI has 2GB dedicated and the Lenovo one only has 1GB. That might just be the selling point for me.

Still looking for potential recommendations, if not you will win.

Aslong as its still in proporiton it should be fine, AKA 4:3, 16:9, or 16:10 afaik
    In this case 16:9.
