I know way too little of them and having a list is useful. I probably forgot several I use but I'll add them later. Would appreciate if you guy could post more links. It might help other people looking for something as well.

You could be a developer that doesn't know how to design and get a lot of use out of themeforest. As a designer you can find a lot of useful resources like icons on graphicriver, and codecanyon can be useful in the same way.

I use this for making filler text instead of lorem ipsum because its too mainstream. But I don't think it really counts.

I much prefer a GUI. Using shell all the time is like reading a book formatted in json.

this is true and I'm being a hypocite because I actually use git's built-in gui to stage files and shit

    Edited:

but for everything else, you really should comfortable using git on the command line

not really, the shell is great because it's basically programming your way around a system

    Edited:

with a gui, you can't really do anything the gui hasn't been designed to be able to do

    Edited:

with the shell and unix tools, I can take lots of small utilities and compose something that will solve my problem

How about you use the gui for all the things that benefit from it and use the shell for everything else? Really this is just arguing for the sake of arguing.
