Suprisingly enough, there aren't many quicktime events, just 3 in the whole game, I think. I hate how the fucking race is so damned scripted, e.g. "Get below 150th place by Vegas" and you're 149 EXACTLY by the time you're there. You can't change anything and it's very linear. Though the maps look good since they're on Frostbite.

Tried something in skyrim. Typed kill in the console and ressurect next. Got stuck in this camera state. Kind of nice for some screenshots.

Compressing gifs you make in vdub can be done with gimp, just open it up and save it (in animation format, dur) and gimp saves it to a different color depth that is only ever so slightly worse, and takes a few megs off the file.

I usually compress my larger gifs in photoshop because it has settings for bunch of stuff

There's no noticeable difference in quality, so it's about file size with these pictures.

I wasn't agreeing to using a PNG, i prefer lower file size, makes loading the page in better.

You've obviously never taken jpg screenshots of a game that features the color red.

jpg vs png is a moot point anyways, file size hardly matters on the 10s of MB scale now, much less the 1s of MB.

It does matter if a picture, a still image, is 2+ MB, if it's a PNG at that size, it can be made smaller in size and still keep the same quality when 'converted' to a Jpeg.
