I've tried stuff around my college campus, but I only feel comfortable going at around 3 a.m. so people aren't like "what the fuck is that kid doing?" I'm not sure where else I would go.

What do you suggest I start off with? What do I learn first?

Yeh, rollings good to start off with, but more than likely if you just try and do it your gonna do a 5-year old roll. The parkour roll is different and means that you roll ACROSS your spine and not OVER it. Theres a couple of websites that will teach you this, i found learnmoreparkour.com covered it nicely, but you could also start off with the basic landing, covered again on learnmoreparkour, but this will mean you can take higher drops with less impact.

    Edited:

Luckily thanks to where i live im in a good place to learn parkour, just a little suburban area means i have open space AND nice built up areas. Plus down the motorway from me i have a parkour park! :D

Usually parks are good places to train, collage campuses are good too, especially for vaults

Thanks I started learning the roll. I had went to the beach today and there was this long path that was just pure rocks and boulders. This may seem lame but I started parkouring on the rocks and boulders, I had did this to practice or test my endurance. It may seem lame and stupid but the majority of the boulders were slanted big time. Oh the pathway is thin and was going out into the ocean. So if I were to fall off, I would have fell into the water.

Well i've had a lot of rainy days lately, living in britain makes some things hard. so i haven't practiced in ages, so im gonna have to remind myself of the rolling. and then start learning some better stuff. Im not a pro yet myself, but i wanna learn it. I just gotta focus on learning it.

I know you said you haven't practiced in ages, but out of curiosity what are you able to do in free running/parkour?

Oh good. I won't have to feel humiliated when I'm in this thread. I'm getting my roll down, but i'm always hesitant to do them on hard surfaces.

Cutting time off a journey by climbing a wall that some dumbass people built, generally being late means you can go faster.
