Anyone know why I'm getting this weird transparency error? I've tried every .vmt parameter I can think of and nothing is fixing it.




It's supposed to look like the left half of the bottom one, but there's that weird seam where for some reason the texture becomes more opaque. It's not an alpha or normals problem, I checked.

I also think you're focusing too tightly on fine detail with the stripes. It's a smaller cosmetic, those thin stripes won't be so noticeable, you should have one thick stripe instead of two tiny thin ones. Sometimes you need to pull back to get a better perspective on things.
