Quick question, I have been trying to get a hat with an animation and it compiles fine but does not animate when worn. There is only one sequence "idle" and that is the animated loop. Ive even decompiled the animated spinning pyro beanie and cant find anything out of the ordinary in the QC. Also when I recompile the same model it also stops animating.
the back of the gun seems very "plasticy" and almost soft
either that or the phong is off a bit.
you're probably looking at the grip on the gun. seeing the indents. and then the lack of a normal/specular looks like it's just all flat?
Polarized Pocket Protector
I think maybe some very faint hints of seams and stitching might look nice. Just some very subtle detail connecting the ears to the head and down the sides of the arm
Nah. it wasn't constructive.
it was someone jumping at the chance to be fucking snarky.
Bonus with the flaregun anims :
Why'd ya edit the "lol" out of your post, sparkwire?
Stay calm, psyke. Ignore them. Don't fight with them.
The koala texture is plain, i agree, but i like it. I don't think it needs anyhting else.
Bless you and your infinite wisdom <3.
Regarding the bear. i'm adding the stitching in a bit. and i'll try and make a different brushstroke pattern. can't imagine the blocky one would work that well.
...and it is too useful! if somebody points something out about your work, and you get offended, or upset, its usually true. Not always, but most of the time I find it is.
EDIT: If this felt too supportive, I would like to highlight the fact that I hate you.
EDIT: But, no, I was also trying to be supportive.
EDIT: see edit one.
Also, the flare gun anim version looks like a shorter, more compact and less makeshift weapon that is oddly appealing. It looks like it makes more sense to me.
I'm not sure. A question just popped into my mind if would be possible to have weapon styles for something like that, where the different styles use different resources.
This shit is better than the Bold and the Beautiful.
