As far as the company strategy goes, I think we should go for food and grain first before we go for weapons. One reason is that when it comes down to it you can fight without weapons, but you can't fight without health. So as far as total damage capacity health is our main goal and weapons secondary.

Also I would support producing our food and giving to ourselves/working for slave labour wages. We can dump the rest onto the market for cheap because this does a few things. A) brings down the prices because of introduced competition making food cheaper for everyone B) bring us some additional profit.

If we can lower the minimum wage that may help bring down prices/curtail inflation bringing us closer to a solid KRW:Gold rate

Oh shit. That's right. There's a minimum wage...
Well if it matters that much the SK FP workers can just send back half (or some other portion) of what they make.

I noticed one of our big boys tried to work for my food company but it didn't have enough grain yet. Sorry about that. I will limit the jobs in the food company for now.

Then in that case, Scientist, hold a level 2 slot open for me please. I begrudgingly reapplied for some other company after failing to join glorious grains and still have to wait the six hours off.

    Thank you good sir.

Try and have more workers in the grain company than the food company, and possibly buy a large sum of grain off of the market as a backup supply.

I have to go to bed now though. School tomorrow.. I will be able to open the slot for you in about 16 hours.

    Edited:

There are still quite a lot of job offers open for the grain company. I have a buffer of 100 Korean currency so feel free to work!

Just an idea for the future when we have a larger gold pool:

I mentioned it in one of my earlier posts.

We could have a person in foreign countries using our gold for investment purposes. What I mean is what is roughly equivalent to a "stock market" i.e. the company market. What you do is buy the least expensive companies in a pool of companies for sale. Then you turn around and sell them for slightly higher prices. Such as buy company for 14.5 gold and sell it for 15. In the end it's only .5 gold, BUT, if you are doing this with say, 15 companies that is 7.5g. It works slowly, but is a solid way to slowly accrue extra gold with money that would have otherwise been sitting around doing nothing.

What it takes is a sizable pool of gold a) to buy as many initial companies and b) buy up any company that happens to try to undercut your prices

the only risk are people undercutting you and just taking too long to sell a company and having gold tied up in that investment, but in erep i found that neither was too much of a concern.

When we have a good amount of money we can consider doing that.

To the people who work in my company and gained skill: your pay obviously rises with your level!

During the period of time when it first started it was absolute insanity. Why? Because it was making gold out of nothing essentially. You could make mad profit. Then people sort of wised up too how it worked and nobody was buying anything and the whole market froze. Good stuff! haha

Wait for an election (15th, 5th and 25th of every month), and there should be some sort of thing on the front page, giving you a heads up to vote.

what makes a company worth more than other companies?
A few factors such as what level of product it makes (1 star, 2 star, etc.) combined with which region its in(weapons company in region with high iron would be worth more than one in medium iron etc.)

Also a reminder in case you guys didn't know, always end the day with 50 health because you automatically gain 50 health at the end of the day. Every point of health over 50 you are wasting that potential!

At this point I would to restate our instructions (in addition to training, fighting, and working regularly)

    Facepunchers in South Korea:
Congratulations on your new companies! To ensure smooth production of food the following criteria must be met:

The Grain Company must have more workers than the Food company at all times.
If the Food Company has at least 2 employees fewer than the Grain Company, you may join the Food Company.

Facepunchers in Lithuania and other countries:
While our companies go on its maiden voyage we must not forget we are on a seperate mission.

Continue following the Dollar-a-Day plan and eagerly await the day we may flock to Korea with armfuls of wealth for its economy.

~This message has been brought to you by the Ministry of Indoctri- I mean Education.~
