OP first I can suggest you go with an extra 560ti for SLI. Just to confirm though are you talking about USD and shipping to the USA?
The widely accepted non-flicker refresh is 75hz, I prefer 85 as do many, go any higher and the only change you'll notice is fine details might become blurred.
I've never seen a 120hz LCD, though I have seen up to 75hz on one, and the motion was terribly blurred. My guess is a 120hz LCD would maybe just be able to compete with a CRT on motion. Not to mention shit viewing angle and disgusting backlight bleeding.
Though that's an assumption as I haven't encountered a 120hz LCD yet. But I think there's a fair amount of logic behind it. Not to mention shit viewing angle and disgusting backlight bleeding.
Then what on earth are you on about then? You've never seen a 120hz monitor first hand yet you're saying anything higher than 85hz is shit essentially bashing it and everyone who disagrees with you on your point. Viewing angle is also hardly important when you're directly sitting in front of the monitor 90% of the time and backlight bleeding is hardly noticeable on decent monitors unless you're actively searching for it.
I'm trying to say your word choice is inflated, yes, too large. Are your hopes crushed? You're far from an intellectual and using large fancy filler words doesn't make you correct.
He's fluent in English and is talking like a normal human being who speaks fluent English of his age. He's understandable by everyone who speaks a decent degree of English. Are you trying to create an argument for the sole purpose of one against him? What does this even have to do with the thread?
Even if you own a 60hz monitor, you can still feel the difference between it running at 60fps and 300fps. Try playing a game limited to 60fps and then try it again limited to 120fps instead and tell me that's not true.
Placebo. You will never see anything higher than your monitors refresh rate. The only way I can imagine you'd think this (on a 60hz monitor) is if the framerate stays at 60 and above constantly and never dips below that. If you're using Vsync then your framerate will drop down to 30 at periods if you're not reaching 60.
