I facepalmed so hard after reading this. The "hexing tutorial" in question is essentially the long way of reskinning a model, and making sure that the reskin doesn't mess with the original. I am am highly annoyed at this dead end, but I appreciate the help.

I'm trying to find a tutorial (that, now that I think about it, I found by accident on an older version of Facepunch) that shows how to hex stuff from non source games, like Killing Floor, or Skyrim. You know, stuff that I mentioned in my first "I wanna hex stuff, plz halp" post. Games that require work and knowledge to get stuff from them.

If you can find that tutorial, or feel like writing an intelligent, step-by-step tutorial (or if you can convince one of the really badass hexers to write one), let me know.
