I felt bad for him the whole through.
Unless it was the Max Payne 1 Graphic Novel music I had in the background that helped the mood.

I can't stop reading the comic in his voice.
The comic was really great,i enjoyed it.
I also love the art style of it.
Max seems to have nailed the "rigorous health regiment" though. Whiskey for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the evening a dose of painkillers and a z-list movie from pay per view. Shit is sad.
I hope that Max falls in love with Passos at least and lives happily ever after till the sequel.
So in the comic, did Max kill his father? Or just threatened him with a replica gun?
It was a replica gun. His father died on his own three years later.
Wonder if Max got beat up for that.
He's an alcoholic, that's kind of what they do.
Same here <3
readin the comic with this on
Finished Max Payne. I was stuck until I realized I was playing the game normally, so I just started bullet-time diving whenever possible.
How many hours in the game did it take you to figure that out?
I was still at the subway in the beginning
Scratch my horrid accusations.
I read it with
and http://www.rainymood.com/
Yeah, bullet time never feels like a crutch because the game's practically impossible without it.
Bah, retail activation not supported?
That sucks, but at least I get a kick ass statue of Max.
I want to try a no-dive run of Max Payne 2.
I hope he monologues what he sees:
A dim room met my eyes in a weary blur of commotion. My owner had placed me in the heart of his collection. I was the centerpiece. Primetime. How had this happened? Imprisoned watching whatever he did with abject horror; the cold of my heart made real and freezing my body in place. Perhaps this was a fitting place for me. Mona would have appreciated the irony. Vlad would have called it fate. Winterson would have called me a murderer. But none of these people could talk. Silenced away, one way or another, by my actions. Kept alive as spectres in the darkest recesses of my mind by guilt.
When I thought I had finally hit the bottom of the pit, the pasty kid sloughing his weight in his chair did the unthinkable. Cracking his belt like a bar-room brawler preparing for a fight, his pants fell to the floor, and I was forced to see the pulpy organ that had been kept at bay until now...
I would definitely enjoy that, even though what I written is way too lexically convoluted to sound properly like Max Payne, but you get the idea.
Although I could never really get into Max Payne 1 enough to enjoy it, I just beat Max Payne 2 and I've got to say it was really fun. Just the simple mechanic of bullet time can make a good game great.
Ragdolling automatically makes max payne so much better

Mooks don't accidentally shoot their buddies now too, good
for those who haven't watched it:
New avatar to celebrate.
This is the first game in a long time I have been really excited about.
My mom liked my Status on Facebook about Max Payne 3.

I'm not really sure if Max not looking constipated all the time is a plus or a minus
Last time he was more constipated, though.
For a while I thought your mom had written that reply and I was insanely jealous of such a cool mom
for some reason I could imagine a laugh track on that
Edited:
Everybody loves Max
I wonder when is the Android port of Max Payne Mobile going to release.
"they were all GULP dead"
He has a constant drinking game going on in his head he takes a shot everytime he thinks of something in the style he does.
Any Australians in this thread know the cheapest place to preorder the special edition? Cheapest I've seen so far is JBHiFi with $134, but I'm wondering if you can pick it up else where cheaper.
Hopefully there are no censoring in the actual game, I hate those beeps.
Looks solid otherwise.
In a game where you can watch a bullet blow someones brains out in slow motion, I really doubt Rockstar are going to censor naughty words.
I couldn't finish MP1. I played it for so long, but I was in a big corridor and 3 people had Grenade Launchers. I literally could not kill the fuckers.
Did you have enough ammo in your sniper rifle? It's not totally impossible once you figure out how to handle those guys.
In the Aesir HQ lobby? That shit was fucked up. I nontheless managed it, I was 8.
I always went bullet time, zoomed in with the sniper, went around the corner and shot a guy, went back around. Rinse and repeat.
I literally walk round, line my sights up and I'm dead.
Memorize where they are, zoom in ready, line up your sights, hit bullet time, pop round the corner, fire, shoot dodge back.
You should only be visible for like a fraction of a second if you do it that way.
