That sentence makes the grammar center of my brain go nuts.
Saying "an used" doesn't make sense but it is grammatically proper..Gah!

The same way people don't say "an university", I do think I was supposed to write "a used".
Afaik, there are some exeptions to that rule, or smth. like both are correct in some cases
No it's not, it starts with a Y sound, so you don't use an. It's based on how it sounds, not the actual letter.
I'm not sure how that much dust can build up since Christmas, and suddenly nonetheless...
Meh, I'll talk to him about it, even though he dreads taking laptops apart after this fiasco:
Fucking HP laptops god damn
Had to take it 100% apart just to get to the heatsink to put on new thermal paste, ended up breaking the bracket the bios battery goes in and it still overheated after that and thoroughly cleaning it
Edit:
Also, thinking about getting the Inspiron 15R. With those interchangeable lids because I'm a customization whore.
But mom is wanting to wait to see if it pops up on sale... I doubt it though, even if it would, I doubt it'd come with an interchangeable lid of your choice.
We're all doomed.
It doesn't talk though, therefore it is inferior.
Had the second day for my MS publisher demonstration today. Not only was the group and their teacher happy, they also asked us to come back again in 2 weeks, letting me skip a really boring class.
Score.
Welp, Seems my pc has broken down even more. Seems those zombie processes were a symptom for something else. Right now it manages to actually log into windows about half the time, and when it manages to log in Explorer crashes the moment you try to open start menu or similar. No dice with task manager ether
Oh, and if i try to click something on my desktop it freezes completely. As in mouse unmovable and complete lockdown
Current plan is to go get my CD (at another house, will take some time) and try a repair. Unless anyone here has any ideas
Safe mode?
MBAM and stuff, might be a virus? Maybe System Restore?
Had avast do a scan in Safe mode, Could not find anything. Going to see if i can get to system restore without a crash
Edited:
Negative on that. Something have disabled system restore. Not me, i used it a little while ago.
Well shit
At least i can go in safe mode and get stuff out if i need to reinstall
Yesterday while playing Goser's Portal 2 map, the game started making weird noises while the screen flickered with artifacts and shit. The game then froze with the last 0.5 sec of audio looping, typical Source style. I thought the computer had frozen, but I was on Skype with a friend and we were still talking. Then I closed the game and that was that. Weird stuff.
its a feature

Oh well, Currys and PC World are fully staffed.
I should probably be pleased about this.
Looks like I get to spend the summer learning C and Python then!
I was bored at school and found out that we have VOIP phones.
Some Cisco / Linksys ones. And there are atleast 3 of them, didn't have time to check more IP-s.
Used WiFiKill to check the vendors. Cisco, TrendNet, Linksys and some more got written down, might check them next time I have time :V
Wow.
2702 Hours of uptime.
I went to check the uptime on my blast server then I realized that somehow it's completely bricked![]()

Yeah the guys on the Mac IE team aren't great, it's why I didn't call them in for the Linux version.
oddly enough netscape 7.2 logs into the website perfectly (unlike safari) and displays the website fairly decently (unlike ie 5.4)
what is this wizardry
I've gone through 3 cases on my iPod
they all either haven't fit right or broke
I don't know what I'm gonna do with my iPhone for protection but cases for iDevices seem to be getting worse
i dunno for $25 I expect something to not break in a week
What the hell is the point of covering the whole device in glass? I mean, that's like the complete opposite what the casing should be, it's for protection.
Well it's alright for people like me who don't drop their phones
But the amount of spoiled kiddos I see on campus with broken iPhones is staggering
I'm really liking what Otterbox make. I've got one covering my HTC Desire HD.
Bulky, but almost indestructible and they fit PERFECT.
They also have a built in screen protector, I have never managed to apply one of those self-adhesive ones without bubbles, ever :( - These ones have no adhesive and just sit on top. No bubbles!
Otterboxes do work but for a device like the iPhone, I'd rather leave it naked
Ain't like I'm about to replace the screen on mine and parts aren't too expensive
Well, Just reinstalled my PC. I forgot how ugly 800x600 looks on a 1080 screen
And how bad it is to browse around for drivers without the GPU driver installed
This person in my "Game Design" class thinks that Alienware is amazing.
Some dude in my 1000 level programming class had one
It was butt ugly, thicker than a textbook and the bezel of the screen was at least 20% of that entire panel
Whereas my Asus has a nice businesslike appearance, a bezel that isn't obnoxiously huge and is actually thin and light and somehow runs games at the same framerate Alienwares do
I'm quite happy with my laptop actually, plays any game you throw at it, battery life is amazing (I keep getting 6 to 9 fucking hours on one charge), It's thinner than the average 15" laptop (not by much) and SOMEHOW lighter than my fucking netbook.
Do you have an alienware?
Fuck no.
Dell Vostro 3550.
Oh, well it's not an Alienware or a HP so you have no reason to be unhappy
I'm quite happy with my ThinkPad T61. I wish it had better battery life, though.
