Played two of the free week champions so far, Fiddlesticks and Nidalee.

Oh my christ Fiddlesticks is amazing. His jungle was damn reliable with his drain, and speaking of his drain, it's probably one of the best spells in the game. Once you put a few levels in it you can completely tank the Elder Lizard, Golem, or even Dragon. His Q is a nice utility spell to catch them in your drain and your ult, and his E actually does some nice damage, along with the bouncing... and the silencing.

Dat moment when I popped out of bush and raped everyone with my ult. Fiddles is really squishy, though, although he could be possibly somewhat tanky with a lot of items. I can see how he is balanced in a real game though (I played a bot match, I will never play a champion first time in a PvP game), since he is so squishy and can probably be really easily counter-jungled, etcetera.

Nidalee is... odd. She is a curious mixture of AP and AD that I wasn't really sure what to do with, and just ended up following some of the recommended items (Rageblade, Lichbane, etcetera). I can see how she could be a viable AD or AP champion, though. Her E and W are pretty good utility skills, where you can setup a trap, prime yourself for a fight, etcetera. Her Q seems like a skillshot nuke, especially at longer ranges. Her ult basically gives you a whole new bag of tricks to play with, most of them pretty great for chasing and farming, and the Cougar Q is a great finisher, and her W is a great initiator/deinitiator. Not sure if pounce can go through walls, but eh.

Fiddle's problem is if he loses his blue he's actually dead, you therefore can't give blue to your mid, he's boned, not to mention Fiddle's jungle time is slow as hell, especially when against the wraiths.

Tip for fiddlesticks: With wota, rabadons, some spell pen and a bunch of wards you can solo baron while your team is busy pushing/distracting the other team.
(wards are not needed if you are fed enough)

Next week/ patch. And there's always some bug with Riot, I'm not surprised. Gives me more time to farm IP, even though I'm at 10.4k right now.
