Sold my Hummel and got meself the KV3 in preparation for the patch. I kind of enjoy arty, but feel really cheap when I do it, though it feels amazing when you save a teammate with it.

What armor and speed adjustments is the KV-3 going to get once it moves on to tier VII? Also, im really enjoying the VK3601 but I heard the tiger is pretty horrible, should I move down the 3002 DB and get the E-50 or continue down the heavy line, I was aiming for the E-75.

Armor stays same, but it gets like 50% more powerful engine which does wonders. It also gets to mount the faster shooting D-25T so it basically becomes heavier armored but less agile IS.
I am happy.

For the second part - It purely depends on if you want a Heavy or a Medium.
E-75 is grand but E-100, still being good, is hardest tier 10 tank to play, while E-50 is probably the best tier 9 medium without any questions asked.

Tiger was literally my most horrible VII heavy grind I've ever done. Let's review all the things about it:
Penetration: Decent, but only a a little over 200mm. Still not enough to frontally penetrate Type 59s.
Match Making: Be prepared to be IX/X filler in about half your games.
Damage Output: Laughable, but oddly reliable. The 88mm Long struggles to do 200-250, but fires much faster than the 122mm or 105mm.
Accuracy: Nothing impressive. You'd think with the best known sniper tank of the war, they'd give it good accuracy, but no. You'll hit tanks, but not the places you want.
Size: Huge and flat. You're a box. Good luck going around corners without being tracked or hit first.
Armor: What armor? I had my 3601H bounce more shit frontally than my Tiger ever did, even angled.
Agility: Not bad, not great. The turret and hull don't turn fast enough to make it scary to some light tanks. I've brawled Tigers before in a T-50-2 and come out untouched.
Speed: Ah! The one slight benefit, it's pretty snappy with the top engine. It won't go as fast as the Tiger P, and you're stuck at a pathetic 30kph, but you'll get up to it very fast.
Overall?
Tiger (P) has much better armor and shape.
T29 has amazing hull armor and a harder hitting gun.
IS is more narrow, much faster and mounts a 122mm.
If you're at the top of your team and smart, don't get me wrong, the Tiger's a great asset there. When you're middle or bottom row, time to feed off the lowest tier scum - because the big boys will tear you a new one. It makes an alright support gun, but so does anything with accuracy.
So what's the pay off? The Tiger II. The KING TIGER.
That thing runs on pure liquid sex and has armor good enough to make it work with a long 88mm until you get the big 105mm. I would honestly make love to my Tiger II if I could.

I pen Type 59's all day long with the L/71, whether it be on a panther II, Jagdpanther, or tiger. It can easily pen the front of a type 59.

Can't really agree with that.
I rather reliable penetrated T59s frontally with ISs 175mm penetration, so the 200 is well enough.
Other than that, you nailed it all pretty nicely.
One thing tho - you are ignoring the mantlet - which is forged by Satan himself. It consumes 128mm shells like candy and you pen it, but rarely pen the turret behind it. I have learned to never ever aim at Tiger's front turret, no matter what. That's one advantage it has over Tiger(Penis), which has much weaker mantlet and a massive cupola to add to that.
Another thing is that Tiger(Penis) has much worse engine and together with worse traverse and much longer sides is much more vulnerable to flanking and circlestrafing. I also found penistigers much easier to set on fire.

Go for the E-75 first then the E-50. You will unlock most of the modules that are shared between the tanks and heavies are generally better than mediums anyway. Both lines have annoying tanks to grind through, being the Tiger and Panther, but the ones after are great.

But IS is my prime choice, anyway, and most people find that even worse, hehe.

Tiger H is way better than the P imo. P might have better armor but H is much more fun and comfortable to play. P is expected to be a front line/breakthrough tank because of the insane front armor but the H is just a comfy "sit back and snipe everything from 500m" box of death with good agility to relocate when necessary.

I enjoy the tiger too, I don't really see why everyone hates it. I mean yeah you can't take an IS alone but who really cares, you shouldn't be alone in the front anyways.

I hate the IS, the gun just sucks dick in bigger matches. The long 88 can lay down some hurt to all tier 8s and some tier 9s frontally.

I don't understand why you all give the tiger and panther that much flak. They're sniper tanks, you can easily kill any tank within your tier and above with them. The l/71 and the l/100 are 2 of the greatest guns in the game, the tanks they're attached to aren't that great, but if you sit back and snipe you can do wonders with them.

I never had problem with the tiers I faced with the D-25T on IS.
You have your agility and you have good HE.

I had more success using it as a medium anyway; if I tried to "snipe" with it my German camo (German camo is the punchline) I'd just be hit frontally and set on fire all day. It was just a frustrating tank to grind. If you liked it that's okay, but I didn't.
Also I grinded the tank at T8 with no L/100

Any IS that knows what he's doing can easily beat you. He'll have pretty much no health remaining but from what I can see if he doesn't ding/miss a shot he wins, even if you land the first shot.

The reason you sit back and snipe is so you dont take hits. The l/100 is not made for brawling, it's made for pelting targets when they move from cover to cover. I'd use a panther with the l/100 over any T7 TD any day of the week, incredible accuracy and fire rate with good pen and meh damage, you just cant beat that at t7. It's also a massive tank made of modules, massive ammo racks and engine, thats why you sit back so you don't take hits.Excuse works for the Tiger well enough, not really the Panther. Then get some HE if you want to damage them frontally. IS is fast enough to go around the tier 9 and hit it in it's squishy side.

Yeah, T29 is op. But it's not as fun as the other two. You have hurr durr inpenetrable front turret but you are a huge tracktrappable target.
T29 is strongest, no arguing that, but it's just not as fun as IS or even Tiger.

Did you not read? I did try sitting back and sniping. It never worked because people would prioritize me because every one knows a Panther is an easy target. I had more success playing it standard.
Also Panther is my highest second highest XP tank so I think I got a pretty good handle on it, atleast enough to say it was annoying to drive

I love my panther and I rarely do any real brawling in it, it's mostly just sniping. I've never really noticed myself getting prioritized by the enemy tank shots, and if you were then you probably got too close.

I did read and I disagree. Panther is my favorite and most succesful t7. When i sat back and sniped, i could easily kill anything before it could clos range enough to get a hit on me. Actually 260 penetration. And it's not worth it. You usually want to shoot the HE which is guaranteed damage and detrack and sometimes ends up doing more damage than AP can.
But trust me, overall
the gun is fucking worth it.

Yeah, I know. I just plan on keeping 3 AP in the tank for special occasions, and the other 9 as HE.

You'll only want to carry 2 AP, trust me. 12 ammo is not a lot.

Can someone please point out where you're shooting Type 59s in the front then?
I can never seem to get past their gypsy armor. I've tried the lower glacis, the turret, the upper glacis, the cupolas (hard to hit on the move, but they do work). There's not a spot I've found to easily pen the front of them when they're moving. When they're turret locked, it's no big deal, I go for the cupolas.

I pen the turret relatively easily with the Pershing top 90mm.
